Just like the other reviews on here Birch is terrible and deceptive! Called my business and spoke to the receptionist who stated in the phone call that she was not the owner and could not approve changes, however they pushed her to go through with it by telling her nothing was "really changing" and that [redacted] was still the phone company but the bill was going to be loweredShe also stated that one of the recorded questions they had her go through she didn't understand and the guy came back on phone and reassured her that that nothing was changing and she just needed to answer yesSo the next week when the front desk girls were trying to access the messages left over the weekend and they couldn't because it kept saying we were entering the wrong password, is when we realized that the phone call from Birch is what screwed everything upWe called to get it cancelled and the customer service was terrible, saying that she(my receptionist) shouldn't have authorized the change if she wasn't suppose toAnd I proceeded to explain to them that, yes as a matter of fact she did and I wanted to have them pull up the recorded call which they never did and that they should have asked to speak with manager or the owner to authorize such a change This business is extremely deceptive and I can't believe this company can have a rating of an A+ with Revdex.com after over complaints and now terribly negative reviews!!! It makes no sense

Birch Communications took my service from *** T illegally and was decaptive from the beginning in July until yesterday AT&T installed my phone on 9/16/from Birch Someone called me and said they were given my info from *** and calling to lower my bill because *** had monoplized the phone lines, and had to offier me a lower bill Birch contacted me and talked with me for a couple of hours, then called me after this the same day and said they could not offer me the services because my work is not considered a Company, I said Ok that is fineI did not know I had Birch Communications at all Suddenly my phone stops working, I call *** and find out I am undr Birch, even though Iwas told I still had AT&T but just a lower bill and then months free???? I had to pay a bill for $to get reinstated in order for Birch to relase my phone back to *** Today I get another bill for $ Someone needs to addres this issue for me as soon as possibleThey have me setup as a Company Origami Owl, because I sell Origani Owl as a 2nd job, this is residential phone and should never have been setup under *** *** or as a business PERIOD!!!! I have not had continuous phone service since 7/1/2016, and I should not owe anything!! Can someone call me XXX XXX XXXX

I have had the worst experience with Birch Communications They "accidentally" disconnect all of our phone lines and has taken over days to have them reconnected When you call their number, they refuse to give you to any manager or able to provide you with an estimated time to complete the order I don't know of ANY business that can't give you a time frame to complete their work order, it's ridiculous I have called several times each day and left emails, and no one returns any message You have to keep calling until you can talk to someone on the phone Terrible company, horrible customer service!

Terrible experienceAn unsolicited call from Birch posing as an At&t partner resulted in my switching my business phone and fax to Birch All was fine for about months, other than delayed billing, until my business phone had an outage A Birch operator claimed that the outage was due to my equipment, which it clearly wasn't, and another operator told me that I wouldn't get a service technician for another three days and that if the problem was on my end it would cost extraThis is at a law office, and a phone being out that long costs untold dollarsThey finally fixed it four days laterAngrily I switched backed to At&t in the interimAbout a month later I recieved a demand letter from Birch demanding immediate payment of their early termination fee, which was for $1,300.00! They claimed it was overdue and I would be turned over to a collection agencyI had never received any bill for the early termination feeThis is unconscionableI paid the fee to get them out of my life immediatelyStay away from these charlatans

This company has been a thorn in my side since I took the job of IT Manager for a small flight school in Atlanta Any customer service experience with them has been at best unpleasant, at worst straight lies I have two year contracts that we completely fulfilled and now that I am ready to close them, Birch is doing everything they can to stall and complicate the process Only after contacts, the last involving a manager, did they finally agree to cancel one of the contracts, promising that they would refund the extraneous month Not only did they NOT refund the extra month, they are treating the contract as if it was unfulfilled and charging over $3,in cancellation fees! They also have failed to close the other account and are continuing to bill us even after contact attempts to close We are now considering legal action I don't know how in the world they manage to have an A+ rating after nearly complaints, but it makes me severly doubt this website This doesn't even address the issues we have had with email as their customer They conveniently leave this service out of their service level aggreement

Being a Revdex.com customer myself for over years, I cant believe that the Revdex.com is giving this company an A+ rating Our company has had complaints against us over the last years and we have a rating of A not A+, so something is going on with the Revdex.com I intend to walk into my local Revdex.com office and demand an explanation My Review is this: stay completely away from this company Go aas far as you can to avoid them They are very very dishonest in every imaginable way Even now as we are trying to cancel our year contract with them they offset every attempt we have made to contact hem for cancellation of our contract We get emails and have phone conversations with them and they seem transparent but finally I had to look up their Corporate address in the Georgia Secretary of State business listings to get their physical registered office and sent my cancellation notice FedEx Finally they are letting me go Thank God!!!!! Not to mention *** proves and much better service (although ***'s Customer Service sucks) their service is far superior in strength and reliability than any VOIP system available, and they are for the most part honest If you do business with Birch you have been warned

We have received several calls from Birch regarding our AT&T accountThey claim they can save us money due to de-regulations that recently passed that prevent business-owner's from paying X-amount for phone serviceThey claim they lease lines from AT&T but they do notI confirmed with AT&T that they are in no way associate with Birch CommunicationsI am confused as to how they have maintained an A+ rating if 100% of their rating is NEGATIVEEvery representative that has contacted us has harassed us and gotten very aggressive when we ask for an account number or tell them we're not interested

This is the WORST company I have ever had to deal with in regard to business telephone services. We moved locations a month ago, just 2 miles from our old location. Birch told us we could not keep the same numbers we have had for over 20 years. Stated they would have to give us new numbers. We relunctantly agreed because we needed phone services. A week later I called back to make sure lines would be up and operational for the move. They had NO idea what I was talking about. I had to set up service all over again. Took another week to have an ATT tech show up at new location and flip a switch outside, lines still did not work inside. Called again, they said it would cost is 140 per line to get the inside jacks operational. There was an insurance agency in the building before which had no issues with jacks. At this time, I called ATT, they actually were dumb founded that we were told we could not keep the same numbers. Basically told us Birch lied to us. At that time we cancelled all services with birch and went directly with the other company. We have now received 2 bills from Birch1 for service that was never cancelled, 1 for installing lines $450 and 150 and now we just received an $850 cancellation bill. WTH? That itself seems very OUTRAGEOUS. Contacting our attorney. This company should be SHUT DOWN immediately.

This business is extremely deceptive and I can't believe this company can have a rating of an A+ with Revdex.com after over 1000 complaints and now 5 terribly negative reviews!!! It makes no sense.

Birch bought out CBeyond. This summer (2016) our main office phone line started being forwarded to a sex party line. Birch contends that this is happening in my office. I don't sabotage my own business. They have not been helpful in trying to trace the problem. In fact, they had the nerve to ask me to sign another 3 year agreement. This issue has been ongoing for over 3 months.

This company lied over the phone stating they were affiliated with [redacted] They are not affiliated. be aware. So far I have called numerous times the numbers provided for assistance and no one answers.

After switching to Comcast in 2014, our company continues to receive on my internet from birch. They switched my phone lines but was informed later after several months that I physically had to ask for my internet to be changed. If they can change my phone lines why can't they change my internet. Once problem was figured out I canceled it. Now they are telling me I am responsible for 30 more days while they make the switch. This is total B.S. Now, they have referred the account to a collections agency. Comcast tried for three months to contact Birch to no avail.

Here is my super bad experience with birch comm!
Our contract is end on 10/15/15
On 6/22/15 I called to cancel the birch contract service, they mention that they cannot cancel it before 90 days of the end of contract.
On 8/31/15 [redacted] Breek [redacted] I call to fix our internet speed and told customer service we are not going to do continue the service with them.
On 9/9/15 I call to cancel the service again, let Birch know we are going to end contract which should be ended on 10/15/15. Do not want auto renew. Customer service orally confirmed.
10/2/15 Call to pull the fax line to our new internet company time warner. Told by customer service that we need to write email to contract department for cancelling the service.
10/5/15 Call to confirm if we have been cancelled service. I thought we will not auto renew the contract since last time I spoke with customer service on the phone told her that we are not going to renew the service anymore. But customer service brought up the policy that we need to let them know by letter before 30 days of the end of service this time.
10/12/15, 10/16/15, 10/21/15
Call to explain our situation to several customer service. At the end, one customer service she helped us to submit ticket to explain the situation and told us they will come to office to pick up the equipment but never show up again.

5/18/16 Received phone call and email from Nancy saying we owed $4153.28.
What they said on the phone is like nothing, you have to have something in written with this tricky company!
