After reviewing this complaint I searched for [redacted] zip code [redacted] but wasn’t able to locate a customerI than searched using the acctnumber listed on the complaint and came up with a [redacted] with the same zip code, phone number and email addressAssuming this is the same person I located a phone order placed on 5-2-at 4:PMAll credit orders are subject to credit approval which takes anywhere from to hoursI show the order was approved and shipped today the 4th and has regular ground delivery That said I am not seeing any previous orders that would have been entered other than one from 12-which was a mailed in orderIf an order is entered and there is an issue getting authorization it would still show as entered but either shipping later or even cancelled if we couldn’t get authorization The only thing I can come up with is with the last names being different maybe that caused an issue If this doesn’t answer your questions please feel free to contact me and I will continue to look into this furtherI can be reach by email or at [redacted] ext [redacted] Customer Service

They are slow in getting back to you by email I had place a large order for my sisters in NewYork and was never informed that they had ran out of item I ordered for them so when I called them the told me those were finished they had no more , then a placed another order to replaced the items and then I called them and they said they never received any orders and then also inform me that another item was on back order and sent just item to my sisters in NY .I told them to cancelled the back order item because I was no able to get any kind of help not even from supervisor not only that but the staff that takes order over the phone need to learn some phone etiquette because they are very rude when speaking to a customer I felt I was not treated like any other paying customer I will never order anything again from them Not happy with the service they have provided me And I intend to pass it on to freinds and family what a terrible experience I had with customer service

I was mailed a catalog and placed an order on 12/10/I ordered identical items for sepfamily members - different names/different addressesAnd because I spent xxx amount of dollars I was given a "free gift" and had it sent to my homeI got a confirmation email and saw that one of the recipients names was in the place of the "Bill too " address and immediately sent an email to customer service asking them to rectify this errorI never heard from them and then got a conformation email the items had shipped - all gifts that I sent indicated they were coming form the WRONG PERSONI called the customer service line and was on hold for minutes and finally got a lady..she could not find my name because the account got listed under one of the people I had sent a gift too! To make it even more convoluted - the CSR is now telling me I need to get a notarized affidavit stating that I want to "assume the bill" and fax it to them before the bill gets sent!!! I was so livid I hung up!! I made copies of every order, my emails, the invoices, and everything they had emailed me and faxed them pages with a letter once again explaining this errorNot a word...nada..then I get a call that one of my gift recipients was sent a bill - he only figured out who the gift came from once he called the company to enquire about a bill for a gift he received but never ordered!! Here's the real catch - the recipient is MY DAD and step mother..the other recipients were my MOTHER and stepdad....and my brother and his wife!!! All thought the gift came from my DADMy mother was horrified and I am beyond [redacted] OFFSo I send yet another email and get this: "Thank you for contacting our Customer Care TeamI do apologize, I do not see the account corrected yetIt is the credit department that would be processing the change, they will be in on MondayI will forward this inquiry to them." This is days after I placed an order....I cannot believe the ridiculous customer serviceI am posting on every social media outlet I can find to discourage anyone to have any business with Birchland"I do apologize" is not even close to rectifying this messSo here it is now 1.7.16...I have yet to see a bill..and quite frankly the entire order should be FREE with apologies sent to everyone I had a gift sent to....what a nightmare and RUINED HOLIDAY!!!!

I am not Happy with birchland market,For 2 years I have tried to order a item for Christmas gifts, They take my order then at the last minute, right before Christmas then inform me they are out of the item! Now on Nov. 12 2019 they claim they are not excepting new orders ! This is crazy, I have friends who will now think twice about ordering from them. Vivian P.

I will never use Birchland markets ever again. There customer service staff is awful, do not know how to talk to customers at all they're not there to help you they're not there to even care they straight up just don't care. I believe they're taking people's information because you have problems trying to pay your bill I recommend that nobody get anything from them don't bother with them whatsoever because something is wrong with this company especially when it's under still fejes at the same time leave these people alone.

The complaint states having received the order he placed but felt the product was inferiorPer customers request all late fees and finance charges have been removed and the account has a zero balance

Also, I never mailed in a order since I have been with Birchland Market..all orders have been placed onlineI also don't have a tracking number for my order like I have had in the past!! I don't believe my items have been shipped!

HORRIBLE! customer service I place an order with three items to three different addresses,they send me notifications when two of the items were shipped but one of the item did not appear so I call the 800 number because their website mail was acting up it keeps flashing I couldn't even type my email address to send one so I have to call the customer service 800 number a very extremely rude lady answer the phone when I started to talk to tell her about my orders she keeps over talking and interrupting me the not let me explain my point and she said that I didn't pay for expedited shipping I therefore I couldn't get my items fast wish it was not my issue or my question I waited for her to answer me 50 minutes. When I call the first time I waited for 20 minutes and they were two employees talking to each other and they never answer me I keep saying hello hello hello and they never answer me so they hang up on me I call back and I waited those 50 minutes for this true lady to answer me when she couldn't answer my question she said she was going to transfer me to a supervisor and she took another 20 minutes well to be a exact 22 minutes for the supervisor to answer me but she was able to explain to me what was happening if the first lady that extremely rude lady cannot work with people she needs to go and put her head in a hole so she doesn't see the world if she can't have good customer service she needs to find a different type of job

Received the catalog offering $300 credit. Placed the order for Christmas Gifts online providing the information from the catalog on 12/6/18. Received a confirmation email thanking me and that the order was being processed. Realizing today I hadn't seen any notice of shipment I checked the account and it had been cancelled! No notifications as to why. It is now 12/19 and too late to send new gifts to arrive for Christmas!

Everything I ordered came in right on time and in perfect condition. The Happy Birthday candle petits were delicious and I also got a free gift with several cheeses and sausages they were also delicious. I would recommend these Birchland Market and Figi products to everyone they were great.

After reviewing the order it shows delivered on 5-06-2016 at 1:52 PM.

This information was obtained by using the USPS tracking site.
I mentioned in the response sent on 5-4-2016 the last name is different from the name on the complaint.
Am I correct to assume the last name changed from [redacted]
If that is the case this would need to be changed in our system so our records are current and up to date.
This would also help when trying to authorize any future orders.
I will need consent from [redacted] to make that change.

The complaint states ordering from...

I left a message on 2-9-2016 & 2-10-2016 asking MS Epting to call me so we can discuss and resolve this issue.
 
Upon receiving a call from MS Epting I will finish this case and answer any questions that still need to be addressed.

I was mailed a catalog and placed an order on 12/10/16. I ordered 3 identical items for 3 sep. family members - different names/different addresses. And because I spent xxx amount of dollars I was given a "free gift" and had it sent to my home.
I got a confirmation email and saw that one of the recipients names was in the place of the "Bill too " address and immediately sent an email to customer service asking them to rectify this error.
I never heard from them and then got a conformation email the items had shipped - all 3 gifts that I sent indicated they were coming form the WRONG PERSON. I called the customer service line and was on hold for 47 minutes and finally got a lady..she could not find my name because the account got listed under one of the people I had sent a gift too! To make it even more convoluted - the CSR is now telling me I need to get a notarized affidavit stating that I want to "assume the bill" and fax it to them before the bill gets sent!!! I was so livid I hung up!! I made copies of every order, my emails, the invoices, and everything they had emailed me and faxed them 10 pages with a letter once again explaining this error. Not a word...nada..then I get a call that one of my gift recipients was sent a bill - he only figured out who the gift came from once he called the company to enquire about a bill for a gift he received but never ordered!! Here's the real catch - the recipient is MY DAD and step mother..the other 2 recipients were my MOTHER and stepdad....and my brother and his wife!!! All thought the gift came from my DAD. My mother was horrified and I am beyond [redacted] OFF. So I send yet another email and get this:

This is 23 days after I placed an order....I cannot believe the ridiculous customer service. I am posting on every social media outlet I can find to discourage anyone to have any business with Birchland. "I do apologize" is not even close to rectifying this mess. Yup Horrible customer service

Regarding case [redacted] for [redacted] zip code 07106.
The complaint...

states having placed an order and being billed for product never received.I checked and saw where the credit was given for the merchandise but the original shipping charge was not refunded and that had late fees and finance charges resulting in the remaining balance.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and will clear the account leaving a zero balance.

Assuming this is the same person I located a phone order placed on 5-2-2016 at 4:24 PM.
All credit orders are subject to credit approval which takes anywhere from 24 to 48 hours.
I show the order was approved and shipped today the 4th and has regular ground delivery.
  
That said I am not seeing any previous orders that would have been entered other than one from 12-2015 which was a mailed in order.
If an order is entered and there is an issue getting authorization it would still show as entered but either shipping later or even cancelled if we couldn’t get authorization.
 
The only thing I can come up with is with the last names being different maybe that caused an issue.

I will never shop this business ever! The girl who answered the phone after 30 minutes had the IQ of a bug. She couldn't hear, she wouldn't listen and she was rude. I could tell that she wasn't the only one because I heard several obnious people in the back ground. The obvious seasonal employee who answered my call kept repeating the script she had in front of her. I'd ask for one item and she'd repeat a different item. After 15 minute of talking with this Chipmunk, I had to hang up and get a stiff drink. Don't order from this place unless you want to be disappointed.
