I applied to their work from home telemarketer through *** *** *** *** which is the same companyThe first sign that it was an unprofessional and untrustworthy company is when I got an email from someone named Tashona *** saying that she had been calling me but no answerI hadn't in fact received any calls but I called back right away to the call back number on the emailIt was a shock that it was a google voice phone number from a supposedly professional companyIt got picked up but no one answeredWhen she called back I could barely understand, hear her, sounded very unprofessional, informal, street, and like she was eating somethingShe seemed distracted saying something like sorry that her phone was always not wokingShe offered me the job unenthusiastically like she didn't want me to work there and like she didn't want to do her job, a no care demeanorI let the rudeness and unprofessionalism go because I reasoned that it was just that one personThen I had to do a conference call at 11am the following weekI dialed the exact numbers I was instructed and waited for the others to joinI even received an email from her a few minutes after I joined asking if I was already on the call which I confirmedI was waiting on the call for almost an hour before it hung upI then called back right away and after minutes I emailed her asking if there was anything wrong, that I had been waiting the whole time for almost an hourShe emailed back nonchalant saying that the conference was over and I had missed itI was dumbfounded and so upset, like how could people be so unprofessional, uncaring, and so inconsiderate of people's timeThey obviously didn't careShe asked for a screenshot of the calls I had made and I didIt showed the two calls and how long I had been on both, but she emailed back saying that I had been an hour late to the conference call and that I was on for only minutes and that she did not know what had happened! I emailed her and a manager explaining what had happened and included the screenshotThe worse incident was when she asked to see me to fire me right after I was on my way out the door after the second day of trainingThe excuse was that the trainer had told her I didn’t do well on the role playThat was so disgustingly unfair because the other two girls who trained with me didn’t even do the role play I was judged on and one of them was even falling sleeping while I was doing itKathy *** was the trainer who got me firedIt made sense because right after I finished with the role play she went out of the room, came back after like two minutes like she had just told on me and feeling all vindicatedShe had made the whole training process torturous to say the leastShe kept looking at me up and down, staring at me while I struggled with the role play and not offering any help at all, on the contrary she would make me more nervous because she would just be starring at me without saying a wordShe seemed very hostile towards me and made it very clear she did not like me even going as far as mimicking the way that I spoke as if mocking meOne of the girls training was not even there for most of the time so it was just her and another girl in the room and they made me feel extremely uncomfortable and hatedThe mood lightened up when the other girl showed up like they didn't want her to see how I was being treatedThis is such a sad, disgusting, unfair, and unprofessional work place, and it literally makes you sad and depressed just being thereNobody should have to endure this disgusting treatment at allThe job itself is depressing and the people who work there at least Toshona *** and Kathy *** make it unbearable to be thereI also get the vibe that they are very prejudiced, don’t care to follow rules or regulations or even to be professionalI felt discriminated, hated, and victimized while thereIt has a dog eat world vibe and the telemarketing job is not even worth enduringThey also have a lot of negative reviews and low ratings which I did read before going there but still decided to give them a tryI wish I had listened to them and saved a lot of time, energy, effort, and discrimination
