Tiny toy box and pellets
I love this company and the owners they make quality pellets. I have watched many of their videos and have learned a lot for free! They are very generous with their knowledge of birds. I am a new bird owner and want to do things healthy for the happiness of our bird. I ordered pellets and tiny bird toys together. Happy/Sad... they are so popular that they sold out of the toys. They went ahead and sent the pelted, which I appreciate! And they they sent me an email promptly that the tiny toys were so popular and it takes time to replenish as they are handmade. I am more than happy to wait!
I will be ordering again with them for sure!
Thank you Jamie and Dave!

On 6/21/I purchased a dvd training set from birdtricks.com called One-Day Miracles for A month later out of nowhere have a pending charge on my credit card from this company for "Parrot Magic" for I have no idea what they are charging me for nowI did a one time purchase from them, but they have kept my credit card info on file and are not making random, illegal charges to my card for products I have not requestedCalling their phone number results in nothing but voicemailI want a refund for the charge and I want them to remove my billing info from their system so I do not get charged for anything else from them that I did not requestI plan to pursue this to the fullest extent to prevent this from happening to other consumers

Review: In February I purchased the advertised bird training system for $47.99 plus shipping. Aprox $58.00. They then charged my credit $197.99 or so. They state I elected a trail offer! Thi is totally false! To check out of their site they spend 10 or 15 minutes attempting to trick one into several, I mean several trial offers. I declined it all! This company actions are a scam and criminal! Charging out account for what they call additional purchases! Please have this company refund my money and stop charging credit card!Desired Settlement: Refund and stop charging my credit card! Report thic company as a scam!

Response:

Mr. [redacted] purchased our elite Taming Training Tricks course on April 13th 2013. When customers order they land on this page prior to ordering:

http://birdtricks.com/secure-orders.htm

This page gives them the option of purchasing either our basic course or our elite course. In bright red text it explains:

You'll keep BOTH videos and the guidebook for 30 days, and train your bird as many tricks as you like.

If you like this Advanced Trick-Training System and decide to keep it after 30 days, you'll pay just $197 (a $50 discount off the regular $247) billed to your credit card, plus you get to KEEP the 'bonus' video -- a $47 value -- as a FREE GIFT!

And because most

of our students want to make sure their parrots REMAIN well behaved,

every 30 days you'll continue to receive our "monthly

maintenance package", which is

chalked full of expert CD interviews, monthly DVD releases &

Advanced Trick-Of-The-Month newsletter... for a monthly tuition of

only $39.97

If you do NOT like the videos,

or DO NOT want to receive your "monthly maintenance package" simply return them within 30 days, and you'll pay nothing. No games, no funny stuff!

So there's absolutely NO RISK!

We also include a flier in the package that we ship out that explains again that they have signed up for a 30 day trial of our elite program and if they do not want it they just need to return the elite portion. I have attached the flier that is included.

So as of May 13th when the 30 day trial was up we attempted to bill Mr [redacted] for $197 for the elite course as per what he signed up for. The charge failed and to date we have not billed him that amount.

He called in on 05/21/2013 and spoke with our customer service representative and she was able to explain what we were trying to bill him for. She also explained that all he need to do is return the elite portion of the course and we would no longer attempt to bill him. He was upset about this but agreed that he would return it.

I'm not sure why Mr [redacted] feels we are a scam as we've only sent him the products he requested and attempted to bill him for what he agreed to.

Response:

I never ordered any additional material. I never intended to purchase any other material. It take several minutes to check out on their site, they try to give you additional services over and over again! I rejected them all! They still sent what I found out later was additional material as if I ordered it and they attempted to fraudulently charge my card again. I never received a flier. I actually thought every thing in the box came with the original purchase. Ive read multiple complaints on this website of customers complaining of the very same thing. They are suggesting we all had the same change of heart. No way!. I had my bank reject any further charges from this company. The public needs to be aware of the suspect actions of this company!

Thanks [redacted]

Review: Like others before me, I ordered the basic product package only, and was very careful to not sign up for the multiple upsell offers that inundate the customer on pages and pages of website. I was not confused in any way, as company associates would have you believe.Rather, I was scammed.Unsolicited, I received the elite package for a 30 day trial, which began on the order date, April 15. I called (left message) and emailed the company to inform them that I had put the package in the mail on May 10, and for them to expect its return. I returned it within the 30 day period, but was charged $197.00 without my authorization. Upon contacting the company to resolve their mistake, I found it virtually impossible to connect with anyone. They hide behind a lack-of-communication chain of emails, tickets that simply restate the complaint, fake personal assistant voicemails, and calls from unknown and blocked numbers. You cant reach anyone--hallmark of an unscrupulous business. Further, I received MORE unsolicited materials by mail. And I also received unsolicited messages to email accounts that I did not give to them. I insisted by email that these intrusions cease and desist, and that they immediately refund my $197.00. They challenged me on the return of the trial materials. I provided a tracking number that indicated receipt of same on May 13. Next, they claimed to have attempted to refund my account electronically. I know for a fact this is a lie, as my banker was on notice once this became a problem, and my account was under surveillance. There was no attempt at a refund. Then, they promised to request a refund check by mail,BUTit would only be cut on a Friday, adding more than a week to this evasive shenanigan. I recd the check, which is NOT VALID because it has no signature. This is sadly reflective of the sloppy and deplorable business practice that I have come to understand is their normal, since reading comments on the internet (which I should have done before the transaction). In my last email to this business, I demanded that they contact my banker by a given phone number (she is informed and awaiting their call) and immediately resolve the refund issue. As of the close of business today, there has been no response. Because of the holiday weekend, this issue is more than two weeks past due to be rectified. I have no confidence that this will be resolved without Revdex.com pressure, or litigation.Desired Settlement: The company will call my banker at the phone number I provided them and arrange an electronic refund immediately and without further delay. The company will revise their website, which clearly is used to exploit orders for basic product, enlisting an automatic subscription to multiple upsell products once they have your account information.

Response:

We sent Mrs [redacted] a check on May 15th for $197.00 When I wrote the check I did forget to sign it and that's my fault. Mrs [redacted] contacted us and let us know this happened. I then called our Merchant Account in order to see if they could process a refund digital from their end. They were able to do and did so this morning. Below are the details:

As of now customer has been refunded as per their request.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 9556882, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.

As of the writing of this response, [redacted], there is no refund to my account and no indication of a refund pending. In addition, I have been in close contact with my banker, who confirms that there is no indication of a refund. Nor has she (banker) been contacted by the company to resolve this matter by phone, as I instructed them to do, both directly, and via Revdex.com complaint.

I have received two communications from them today; one states that "I will next day air another check which will be signed to you"; the second claims that the merchant services provider was able to process a refund. So, which is it? Neither, as far as I can prove.

I will continue to check on the status of such, but again, I have zero confidence that this will resolve without Revdex.com pressure, or litigation.

The company people seem to live in a parallel universe. I can tell they receive my emails, but they blatantly ignore the content of my emails. In emails directly to them, I spelled out with crystal clarity how I wish for them to handle this matter, and when. I repeated this in my Revdex.com complaint. This has gone ignored at all levels. Had they been reputable and forthright from the start, this would have been wrapped up on May 13, 2013, the very day they intruded on my bank account without permission.

In this day and age of connectivity, I find it suspicious that they intentionally remain very slippery and unreachable; evasive and anonymous--and they have all the means to reach me and to have handled this properly on May 13. I am done with this game and will go a long long way to make certain others do not get tangled in it.

Kindest regards,

I spoke with Mrs [redacted]'s banker this morning and emailed her proof of the refund.
