To whom it may concern: On 6-20-Mrs*** called *** *** and son plumbing, due to a leaking faucet in bathWe advised Mrs*** that the faucet was beyond repair and that she would need a new faucet she also stated that her kitchen sink was backing upWe wrote up a
contract stating that we would break tile around faucet install new Moen tub & shower valve w/ hammer arrestors and that there would be an extra change for tile repair lastly we would run an auger through 2” cleanout to unstop kitchen sink, Mrs*** agree to the price and signed contactOnce faucet was completed we notified Mrs*** of the additional charge for tile Mrs*** refused to pay for tile work stating that it was in the contractWhich it clear stated that there would be an extra charge once faucet was installedWe went ahead and compedMrs*** the tile work at our own expenseLastly we ran the auger, snake would not pass through 2” pipeWe advised Mrs*** of the situation, we told Mrs*** to retain from using the kitchen sink due to the fact that the water was not draining but was pouring out under the houseThen Mrs*** ask what would it cost to fix the problemWe told Mrs*** we could not give a price because we could not get access to the pipes due to under house being completely floodedAt that moment we told Mrs*** that we would be back in two weeks to give her an estimate to fix the kitchen sink drain and in the meantime not to use the kitchen sink so that under the house would dry up

To whom it may concern:                    On September 6, 2017 we arrived at the [redacted] residents. Mrs [redacted] explained to us that she had no water coming out of the kitchen faucet. We advised her he had to preform several test to diagnose...

the problem. First we removed the strainer in the kitchen sink we found water softener resin which are small BB like substance that is located inside the water softener. We then took a look at the softener, the softener looked to be well over 10 years old. We then recommend the softener to be replaced. As followed we then checked the pressure to the house which was well over 80 psi. The final verdict narrowed it down to two problem. The softener had ruptured and softener resin had clogged the kitchen faucet and the water pressure was excessively high (over 80psi) which might have caused the water softener to break. We advised Mrs. [redacted] that the water softener need be replaced, a PRV (Pressure Reducer Valve) be installed at the meter, an Expansion tank be installed at the water heater, and finally flush the water lines at the kitchen sink. The price that was quoted was $2305, Mrs [redacted] agreed to the amount and signed our receipt to commence work. Once the work was completed we had Mrs [redacted] Sign again To indicate the satisfactory completion of the job, which our receipt clearly reads. A few weeks later we received a call from Mrs [redacted] stating that we was unhappy with the NUVO and wanted to go back with a softening unit like she had before. She stated that NUVO had a 90 day money back guarantee. We then told her that we would gladly refund her $525 for the product, but not for the labor. She then went on to say she had been looking online and found a unit she wanted for $567, and if we could give her $567 instead. I gladly agreed and offered her $575, we agreed she buy the softener and we would swap out the unit we installed and install her unit and give her a check for $575. We both agreed and she would call me when the unit arrived. A few days later we received a credit card dispute in the amount of $2305. We checked with our Credit Card service and they indicated that the [redacted]s had filed a Dispute and the funds will be put on hold and investigated until January 8, 2018. We tried several times to settle with the [redacted]s. Mean while the [redacted]s had filed a complaint with Revdex.com, now requesting $1500. Which came as a surprise to us after the fact we had just came to an agreement of the $575. On January 19, 2018 we then contacted the State Plumbing Inspector Sidney who instructed us to take a check to the [redacted]s Residents for the amount of $575 and to remove the NUVO product we had installed and bypass. Upon arrival we did call the police to mediate the situation. The check settlement was accepted by Mrs [redacted] for the amount of $575 and the NUVO unit was Removed and Bypassed as instructed by the Inspector Sidney. As followed on 22 January 2018 the settlement check in the amount of $575 was cashed by Mrs [redacted].
