Damage to furniture and to hardwood floors in new home When movers arrived, I said we ONLY requested things: be very careful with our furniture and be very careful to NOT damage the hardwood flooring in the master bedroom of the new home We also stressed to them to NOT lift master bedroom furniture by the granite top I was then informed that one of the night stands was "broken" and the granite "cracked." I gave the mover the benefit of the doubt, simply stating I had to let my husband know about what happened At the new home, several pieces of furniture were damaged (one broken piece was kicked under the dresser as if to hide it) and as my husband's desk lay broken on the floor, the movers insisted they had no responsibility for the damage My husband became upset and one of the movers commented on how "unreasonable" we were being If they had taken some responsibility for the broken desk and broken pieces of furniture, that would have made a huge difference In additi

On the 30th of November we hired AZ Discount Movers to move us from Cave Creek, miles, to Rio Verde Once all of our furniture and belongings were loaded on to their truck we were ready to go however held up due to truck mechanical problems Once started, after a few hours, it was agreed that they would take everything back to their depot for delivery on the following Monday The driver promised that the belongings would stay on the locked truck On Monday the dispatcher called letting us know that the furniture etcwas being loaded on to a different truck and we would be billed for the reload and travel timeSomewhere between Friday and Monday several items were damaged, lost or stolen in the process One picture, one vase and two lamps were damaged Missing items included were an inflatable bed, one bottle of Jim Beam, one folding ladder, boxes of antique baskets and household items This along with paying several hundred dollars more for the move gives Arizona Discount Movers a zero star rating with us We would not recommend anyone hiring this company!
I hired this company to move my belongings in to a new houseSeveral items were damagedI took pictures and submitted a damage claim reportThey told me it would take 6-weeks to process the claimI had to contact them after the allowed time because I hadn't heard anythingI was told the claim was processed and the check was mailedI waited more weeks but nothing arrived in the mailI called and was told it was mailed that day and I should have it within daysWhen the claim check arrived, it came with a letter stating that only out of the items that were damaged had been approvedI have emailed them asking why the other items were not approved when I had clear pictures and evidence of the damageThis company has horrible ethics and customer service
