Thank you for contacting me regarding the purchase that Mr. [redacted] had made at Bison Turf Equipment. Mr. [redacted] purchased a [redacted] lawnmower from BisonTurf Equipment and tried to return it the following day. are clearly posted at our sales counter (see below) that we do not accept any returns or offer any refunds on equipment, new or used. Posted policies: Shop Labor Rate $79.00 / Hour 1/2 Hour Minimum RETURN POLICY . Any new and unused parts that are "non-special order" may be returned for a full refund If returned within 7 days with a receipt. No returns after 7 days. . Special order items are not returnable. . Wholegoods or serialized inventory whether new or used are nonreturnable and nonrefundable. . Electrical items are not returnable. . Any deposit Is non-refundable. Mr. [redacted] was unhappy about this, and Bill told him that he would see if he could help. Bill contacted me regarding the issue and I told him that I would offer him full credit toward another [redacted] mower with a [redacted] engine (apparently after purchasing the mower from Bison Turf, Mrs. [redacted] said that she preferred [redacted]). After refusing that offer, I told Bill that I would make an exception to our "no returns / no refunds" policy if Mr. [redacted] was agreeable to a 25% restocking charge to cover the time that we had invested in registering the mower with [redacted] as well as the time in reversing the warranty registration. We also had to send the mower through our shop again to drain all the fluids as you do not want to leave the gas in the mower or it will go bad. Mr. [redacted] accepted the offer to return the mower and picked up a check at our main office. We went above and beyond to try to accommodate Mr. [redacted]. I am sorry that he is still unhappy, but I am unable to refund any of the restocking fee. Regards, Rob H.
