Great communication
I contacted them to do a job for me. They were fast, efficient, and the girls in the office were very helpful.
Great communication

difficult for us to get in the Customers home to do/finish our work due to the Customers work schedule This is the very issues that we have come up against pertaining to the [redacted]. They have had to cancel with us several times after we have set up a date and a time that we both agreed on due to their work schedule. We on the other hand have also had to cancel on more than one occasion due to unforeseen circumstances on our part. Having said that we would very much like to get this issue resolved to both parties satisfaction as soon as possible. We would like to perpose that the [redacted] give us a 2 week notice and block out a time that they can fit into their schedule, Monday Thru Friday of any week between the hours of 9am and 5pm. We estimate that we will need up to 2 days to finish the project. We need the 2 week notice due to the fact that we already have other work scheduled and would need to move some stuff around As soon as we receive the times and dates from them that they will be available for us to complete the work we will do whatever needs to be done to fit this into our schedule. We can be reached by email at Bitnerbrothers@ [redacted].com. Thank you very much and have a great day

I am writing in response to the complaint originally submitted 1/12/2016.Acknowledging the concerns of the customers as poor workmanship, completion of work in a timely manner and lack of communication between Bitner Brothers Construction and the customer.Upon assessment of the job on 2/2/2016 and speaking with the customer we have determined the drywall has several areas with divoting. The drywall was spackled, sanded and painted to correct these concerns 2/4/2016. This was our 3rd attempt to satisfy the customer. Our contractor worked closely with the home owner and requested the work be reviewed as it was being completed. Upon the completion 2/4/16 the home owner was pleased with the results. At the time of arriving back to the office the same evening another complaint was called in by the homeowner. We have enclosed a signed copy, by the homeowner, of the Completion Certificate for the painting on 1 1/2/2015. Previously on 11/13/2015 a Specialized Paint Contractor was hired by Bitner Brothers Construction to make any corrections and repaint.Upon receiving customer complaint 11/2015 an outside plumbing contractor was hired to reinstall various plumbing concerns. The shower wall was originally cut making the faucet hole larger then the homeowner liked. This was corrected by covering area with the same material, (water resistant), as the shower Stall and placing a steel cover over. At the time of completing this work the homeowners verbally approved. The complaint received 2/3/2016 is asking for an inspection of the floor joist. There was no inspection required due to existing plumbing. At this time we are requesting to have a mediator/inspector to review the job site and confirm what is required. Bitner Brothers will cease any further work until a satisfactory agreement between both parties has been reached. We look forward to hearing from you regarding this matter.Sincerely,Charles B

 Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  I have spoken to Tyler, on or about the 14th of January.  He was to bring out someone who would finish the job, however this person cancelled on him and would not be available until 1/18.  I was then offered to have Chris, the previous worker who did a poor job on the spackeling and painting, would come with Tyler to complete the work.  This was not acceptable to us as Chris's wok was not done properely the first time, therefore why should he come back again.  We said we would wait until the other guy was available.  I am currently not working so my schedule is open to have someone with working knowledge of how to complete the job properly, could come in.  I relayed this to Tyler.  I have as of 1/25 heard nothing from either Bitner Bros. or Tyler regarding coming back to complete the work.  I am scheduled to start a new job on 2/8 so I have and open schedule until then.  Regards,

Hired them to remodel a house we were selling. They are terrible. Extremely poor quality of work and could not even come close to completing within timeline. We decided it was costing us to continue just with them. We hired someone else and had to have most of the work redone. They subcontract everything out to poor quality workers. Your roof will need redone if they do it because it will not be done correctly. Complete waste of time and money.

Bitner Brothers Construction just replaced my Shed Roof today 10/21/2017. I decided to disregard the old outdated review and I'm glad I did. I found the company to be Professional and diligent. Julie, Ryan, and Larry were good communicators addressing any issue I had and helping me come to an informed decision. I'd call it "Team Bitner" and they are on your side. The Atlas Roof they installed is far superior to the old GAF I was familiar with in the past. Julie put together and walked me through the process of getting a package with one year 0% interest loan. Ryan explained the advantages of using an Atlas Roofing System and Larry installed only what was needed to do the best possible job. They fit me in too so this would get done before winter. Highly recommend.

+1

We hired this company to remodel our master bath. The timeline was 1-1 1/2 weeks. The start date was 10-5, but it was moved to the next week due to a conflict with our schedule.
We gutted the bathroom ourselves, so there was no tear-down of the existing bathroom. During the process, my husband reminded them to make sure they measure for the lights and the mirrors and that the drain for the sink probably will need moved. As work progressed, they installed the lights and the mirror ( 1 of 2 which was broken) the mirror was a tilting mirror which could not tilt due to the light fixture being in the way. No one measured, on top of that we found out that the New shower stall had a huge hole where the handle was to do, leaving a gaping hole in the stall itself, the whole handle could be moved from left to right up and down an inch or more. We started to uncover poor craftsmanship from the so called plummer that was subcontracted by Bitner Brothers. The shower drain was installed improperly and the plummer they brought in to do it had to open up our ceiling in our family room, only to expose more damage by the subcontractor. Bitner brothers president came out to our house to discover the shoddy workmanship that his employee had done. So here is a list of things that where poorly done:
Installation of the tub drain, Shower handle, Vanity, the drain for the double sinks leaked, the prepping of the walls with "mud" was poorly done. Painting of our bathroom was terrible even had a second painter come in and it was still not right.
As of writing this complaint the work has still not been completed to our satisfaction and we are now in the middle of December.
Please, do not hire this company, the workers take no pride in there workmanship and the owner himself is too busy to connect with his customers to make sure they are happy with the results, which we have no results to this date.
All around this expierence leaves a bitter taste in our mouth. Please let people know that this company has some serious problems when it comes to completing a simple renovation.
