I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.    In response to Mr. [redacted]' response above, to date he HAS NOT returned our item, he HAS NOT contac[redacted] us.  We had 3 items stored at [redacted] Furs, 2 antique rugs and 1 fur coat.  We took possession of 1 rug and 1 fur coat, as Mr. [redacted] told us he could not find the 2nd rug.  We provided Mr. [redacted] with a list of every contract number/item number that had been assigned to our items.  Those numbers came from and were according to the contract copies we have that go back to when we first stored the rugs. Mr. [redacted] has a log book, that he showed us, that he even said was a mess and had multiple numbers lis[redacted] for the same item.  He said at one time his father had changed the numbers or numbering system.  Unless Mr. [redacted] has found the 2nd missing rug, he has not called us to let us know that he finally found it.  I spoke with him a few weeks ago and at that time he still maintained that he didn't know where the rug was. I asked him when he last did an inventory and last saw the rug and he didn't know.   If Mr. [redacted] can produce our missing antique rug and return it to our possession, we would be very greatful.  Unfortunately, I do not believe Mr. [redacted] is being truthful in his response ] Regards,

We have done all we could to help and additionally offering to refund the storage fee ($185) for the rug that was here on our premises.  Aside from that, we feel we have done all we could for Ms. [redacted] and this matter. Thank you.   Sincerely,       [redacted]
