Complaint[redacted]I hired Rod Gross with bizhop construction to supply and install windows to my house. I payed a deposit of 2650 dollars. He assured me the windows were ordered and made a fake invoice from his supplier that the windows were ordered. After this his phone was disconnected and I could not get ahold of him. Desired SettlementI want my deposit of 2650 dollars returned

The contractor repeatedly failed to show up when he promised he would and has only completed one quarter of the work. I hired this contractor on the basis of his commitment to complete a small renovation job quickly. He assured me that he had time in his schedule to complete the job within one week of the agreed upon start date. The contractor failed to show up for three days in a row from the start date, citing various excuses. His assistant completed 4-5 hours of work on the 4th day. Since then, the contractor has repeatedly failed to show up when promised and has done no further work. I have paid $900 up front and only 1/4 of the work has been completed. Desired SettlementI'm seeking a refund of $700 on my $900 deposit. I'm prepared to pay for the $200 of materials the contractor confirmed he purchased, but I want a refund on any labour or other charges for the severe disruption and inconvenience this situation has caused me.

This company makes promises that are not kept. We repeatedly had to try and chase down the owner. Always wanted money up front and did not deliver.The initial meeting was filled with promises and details of how repairs to the home would be made. We agreed on timeline and price. Business owner required significant money up front for supplies ([redacted]) and continuously failed to show up to do the work. Had excuses from car accidents to vehicles that would not start to illnesses, to court or many times just not show up at all. Twice he dropped off his assistant - who did good work - and then he disappeared. Absolutely unreliable and we were in a time crunch to get work done. Tried to reach him on the phone number on business card - no longer in service. We went to the office address listed on the business card - it was vacant with "For Lease" sign in the window. He had excuses for those as well. Finally moved his supplies to the garage and advised him via text message to come by and pick them up. He would not pay back the $750 for extra money provided for work not done [redacted] Desired Settlement[redacted]

Promise dates for delivery of services have been broken. He will not return my calls. I requested my deposit back and he will not respond.I entered into contract with Mr. [redacted] and gave a $1500 deposit to buy materials to drywall my basement. We were told that the material would be delivered on 10/3/2014. I waited until noon without hearing anything. I called the number provided and finally got a text back that the delivery would not be made but that I would be called that evening. I got a call that the delivery would be made on Monday and that we would touch base on Sunday. I tried calling several times to speak with him on Sunday and no answer. [redacted]. I sent a text that I would like my money back and haven't heard back from him.Desired SettlementI would like my $1500 deposit back.
