On January 30 2020, ***, *** called BJ Heating and Cooling about a problem with our furnace. As we have multiple animals, we asked that the technician call us before arriving so we could confine our many dogs. I, *** got a call from *** who advised me that a tech could arrive earlier than our appointment time and agreed to have someone come sooner. I did some spot cleaning including the use of disinfectant. After giving us a call, the tech arrived and we confined our dogs. He called a second time saying he needed to wait for his boss. Then, he drove away and neither he nor his boss showed up. Another tech called who did fix the problem with our furnace. We again confined most of our dogs and to my knowledge, he had no physical contact with our animals. The bill was paid; *** and I thought all was well. The next day, I got a call from *** of BJ Heating and Cooling. Because their techs have allergies/asthma and issues with dogs, he said their company could no longer service our heating and cooling unit which, by the way is under warrantee. I believe this is wrong and unfair. A few years ago, someone came to our home to discuss with us the products we could purchase and warrantee information. Days later, two technicians came to our home and installed our system. At the time, we had multiple animals and we kept our dogs away from the techs. When we were paying thousands of dollars for our system, no one said anything about allergies/asthma. When a tech advised us to pay about $50.00 twice a year to have our system cleaned, there was no mention of medical issues or fear of dogs. I realize some people are afraid of dogs and/or have medical issues. However, we aren’t the only customer who has animals. I suspect other homes looked worse than ours’. There is bound to be a tech on their staff who can handle being around animals. Of course, when we would need someone, we will do what we can to accommodate him/her. If I know of anyone thin

Our company had serviced this customer's address a few times over the last year and we had multiple technicians request not be sent back. Because of this, we reached out to the customer and explained that it may not be the best fit for our company to continue servicing the address because the technicians didn't want to go back. Once the complaint was filed, we reached out to the customer and talked to her again about the situation with technicians and the dogs. We offered to assign a specific senior technician to her account. He would handle any service calls moving forward and the customer was pleased with the resolution with the issue. We have marked to send the senior tech to her account in our system. If she has any further issues she may contact our management at anytime.

Wonderful service, friendly and very courteous. When we purchased our home in 2012 the HVAC system had been installed by BJ Heating & Air a few years prior. After 1 year we had an issue with the AC and had to call for service. They were quick to come out and make the repairs and even kept it covered under the warranty. We had to call them again recently due to a blower issue. They were out to us within a week and able to provide the part and make the repair that day! Sadly I forgot about the coupon I had printed from their website when making the payment for the service. I called the next day to see if they would be willing to credit me the coupon....and they did! That is going above and beyond to provide good customer service. I am very pleased with the service from this company and gladly recommend them to anyone!

We recently had a Mitsubishi mini split unit installed in our sunroom by another local HVAC contractor. The work was shoddy and very unprofessional. We were very unhappy and decided to find another contractor to continue the work of installing a second unit in our garage. After many quotes and a lot of misinformation, we called on BJ's Heating & Air Conditioning. We are glad we did!
Barry *** came out to assess our new install as well as the unit installed in our sunroom. He was very disappointed as were we, that the unit we purchased was not what we were led to believe and that the install was aesthetically displeasing as well. Not only did he educate us on which unit would be most efficient, he offered to clean up the mess left by our first contractor.
BJ's installed the garage unit and worked with us to reinstall the sunroom unit to be more efficient and pleasing to the eye. BJ's crew was very professional and meticulous in their work and we are more than pleased. We are impressed and would recommend Barry *** and BJ's very highly. We have had numerous bad experiences with HVAC contractors in the past. Barry is a man of integrity and honesty and we will definitely use him for any future HVAC needs.

Wonderful service. From the first call to the final installation , these folks are on it and are trustworthy to deal with.

Getting Mitsubishi Minisplits with BJ Heating and Cooling was a great experience. Professional people from the estimator to the installation crew. Everything was picked up when they left. I would definitely use them again.

Had a wonderful experience with BJ Heating and Cooling in Jeffersonville, In. The tech, Tim ***, did a wonderful job cleaning my furnace and getting it working properly. Mr. was very efficient and took his time and did a great job. I would definitely recommend BJ Heating and Cooling. I will be calling them again when I need work done.
