I had them come over to my house to fix my ice maker in my fridge The tech got there and was working away, realized that they had the wrong part So he put everything back together the way it was hours later when I go upstairs my kitchen is flooded The tech didn't tighten something all the way, so the back of my fridge leaked for hours I called the company they said to turn the water off and they would have the tech come back out My husband called the company to see who would be paying for all of the damage Which includes water in my pantry, under the cupboards and down to the basement The manager said that if it was that bad we should call our insurance company Called our insurance company, lots of phone conversations later, the tech came back and the leak is fixed but the damage had already been done The tech told my husband and I that he was sorry and he was rushing and should have double checked it after he turned the water back on and left We had another company come in and start drying everything We have fans in our house, linoleum ripped up in our kitchen, carpet that was ripped up in our basement, and fans everywhere We are currently out $*** from our deductible, which BJ's manager said was not their problem They said that they would dispute any claims because the water had been cleaned up off of the floor before the tech had gotten there Because I was supposed to leave all of that water just sit on the floor? There were sopping wet towels in my kitchen when the tech got there Not a good experience
