During the past year we talked with more than half a dozen painters & painting companies some of which were referred to us (with good intentions by Sherwin Williams). We experienced: high pressure sales, independent attitudes including some that promised to call back and never did and last some were just too expensive. We chose The Final Coat, Inc. on Kelly Avenue in Akron which was not the cheapest but we had a good feeling about the owners Carla and Jason. On the 1st day of painting, the Final Coat employees' attention to detail including their efforts to protect our personal property was obvious. After every surface in our home & garage (except floors) were painted and true to their word, the Final Coat crew returned to address any concerns we had large or small. Great people, great work and I am so happy they took charge regarding the selection of paint finishes and paint selection for our high humidity areas. We will definitely use The Final Coat Inc. again!

I thought I had completed a review earlier this year but I guess not I want to make up for it now because this company really, really deserves it I had a very, very, very small job to be done on the exterior of my house last year and hired a company I will forever regret that The job was horrible and I fired the companyI turned to The Final Coat but the seasons changed and it was too cold for them to fix the mess They came out this summer and did a job beyond what I could have ever imagined or expected They cleaned up the mess left by the former company and completed the project It gave a whole new look to my house and I couldn't be more satisfied As the work progressed, I was left daily summaries describing what they were doing left in my mailbox for me to read when I got homeI still marvel at the job they did and so do others in the neighborhood I learned my lesson I will never look elsewhere for any of my painting needs and you shouldn't either The Final Coat will not disappoint you I'm proof no job is too small for them
Our decks were sorely in need of repair and painting -- these are big decks 8'-10' off the groundThey spent some time looking carefully, testing for rotten wood and advising us(My husband has done carpentry work, so he knew their advice was on target.) They repaired everything, including the tricky bits, and painted the decks beautifullyThe deck painting required working around my extensive plantings -- very little damage, if anyClewas impeccable, and they left us some paint for touch-upsI have used this company for interior painting, too, where they did a nice clean job and there, too, they gave us good advice about wallpaper removal and paint choiceI can recommend them without reserve
