I have spoken with Mrs [redacted] We are refunding the deductible for her warranty repairs and she has an appointment with me personally to see IF we can trade her out of the vehicle she currently owns [redacted] GSM Laurel Ford/Kia 601- [redacted]

In response to the complaint, this vehicle has less than 20,miles. It has plenty of warranty left on the vehicle. The engine was replaced due to the knocking sound that was in the previous engine. This concern was not due to anything
other than a manufacturer defect and nothing else. This customer is really unhappy with the vehicle, but every concern that they had, we have corrected. If there is a issue it will be corrected, the vehicle is not smoking other than when you first crank the vehicle in the morning some smoke briefly comes out of the exhaust This is a characteristic on any vehicle when you first crank them in the morning. As far as the alignment is concerned, we replaced the engine with a long block engine provided by the manufacturer. During this visit this concern about the alignment was not mentioned. However when the customer returned with this complaint, it was discovered that the alignment was out only in the rear. As far as it goes, I don't know about the sales aspect other than trading the vehicle out which I don't know if their payments would go up or not.

customer have contacted kia and told kia she would bring vehicle back for more testingbut from the symptoms of the vehicle is a condition when vehicle first starts in the morning. we checked the dipstick and it was not milky looking, so we are waiting for the customer to bring vehicle backit would be real nice if the customer could bring Thursday evening and leave for Friday morning we may have a kia rep here

I am rejecting this response because: there is oil still coming out of the exhaust and the oil on the dipstick is milky alsoThe mechanic said was didn't see any concernI guess all Kia vehicles run like thatI have had this vehicle alignment done three times I believe and the rear alignment just got done after I told the assistant service manager to look at the rear tires at how they are leaning inThis has been every since I had the vehicleThey saw what I was talking aboutNo they will not trade tried to go down to a lower model of vehicle wouldn't do it because hadn't had it long enough.

I stopped by the lot to merely inquire about the price of a vehicle I was approached by a sales consultant and asked about the vehicle He stated that the owner had been driving it, was why there was a few thousand miles on it I again asked for a ballpark price, and was told he didn't know, but if I could just step inside and talk to a sales manager he could give me a price I told both the consultant and the manager I did not have a lot of time this day I told the manager which vehicle I was asking about He basically told me that if I could sit down with him, let him work with the numbers to give me the best deal, drive the vehicle and discuss a vehicle I had as a trade, he would work with me I again told him I didn't have the time this day He basically "waved me off" and said he didn't need my businessI promptly left without him even giving me a price for the vehicle Needless to say, I will not be back, he won't ever get my business and I will tell everyone about my experience with this dealership

Dear Ms. Linda Clopton,
It is unfortunate that Mr. [redacted] is having some issues with his vehicle, but the vehicle is still covered under factory warranty....

Any issues should be taken care of under the guidelines of the warranty manufacturer. We feel that the customer would be better served getting the vehicle repaired verses trading the vehicle in at this time.  Every concern has been taken care of, including Laurel Ford purchasing Mr. [redacted] 2 tires because of some of the concerns. This was a goodwill gesture that we felt was the appropriate thing to do but not mandatory. This vehicle has approximately 16,000 miles of factory warranty miles remaining and also a 100,000 miles extended warranty that does not expire until January 2020. So, if there is any concerns with the vehicle, the customer just needs to call and schedule an appointment to get the concern rectified.
