Using black belt movers was one of the best decisions I have madeWe had [redacted] , [redacted] and [redacted] as our moversThese three young men were truly ninjas when it came to moving They got the job done faster and for less than quotedThey were fast, efficient and carefulThe thing that impressed me the most is how nice and courteous they wereThey were a joy to work with! We even had a piano to move which I was dreading and they did it with easyI would most definitely recommend these guys!

first that never called me on the day of second move that day and must pay extra of them because of find another mover and stay in the apt for
ano
the first move with went good and had them reserve for second move the following Monday ***thdady the day we need to be out they claimed they find bed bugs the second mover find no problems with rest and cost more and took longer for that move two men not three that was need and we had more per hour for two men and extra day because never called on that and if we had bed bugs think we get someone else effected second I had professional check for all my things no bed bugs anywhere so what make them think we had bed bugs

Black Belt Movers failed to move all of my items and delivered most items to the wrong destinationsMovers left me stranded at a storage unit
Everything about this Black Belt company's packing activity seemed okay until the last packing day I told the packer of several things that still needed packing I was surprised and annoyed to discover that none of those items had been packed and that she simply left without telling me that she was leaving without finishing the packing That meant that I had to pack more boxes (not easy since I am handicapped) I have found since the move that several boxes were not taped well enough so that the bottoms have fallen out
Then the problems with the Black Belt movers themselves have been unbelievable Throughout the time that I had contact with the two young men who were doing the moving, they were polite and pleasant enough until the last encounter Unfortunately, I found after they had left that they completely ignored my instructio

When we moved from a sf story with a walkout basement to a sf ranch with a house full of furniture I decided I should get a couple of bids I chose to go with Black Belt Movers They had sent a representative to our house and we were given bids on packing and moving Each bid had a low and a high We chose to have the packing and the moving done by them The packing went well a few days prior to the move The day of the move (which was only miles away) they sent trucks and movers who seemed very polite and worked hard Since the move was close they decided to not try to pack everything but just get what they could in, drive to the new house, unpack and do it againThey started at 8am and were supposed to by done by 3pmSince they had to be directed which rooms the furniture and boxes were supposed to go in my wife and I had to split up One of us at the old house and one of us directing at the new house Time flew by and it became apparent they were not going to be finished by 3pm when the new owner was supposed to be moving inThe head guy, probable in his early 20's, called the company and they sent a 3rd truck with another moversThis is when the chaos began They were all tired and just wanted to get done They just started moving things and not putting them in the correct rooms Boxes that should have been in our office or bedroom on the main floor ended up in the storage room downstairs Bedrooms downstairs were piled high with boxes and no way to get into the rooms We had a lot of furniture that wasn't going to fit in the house and we told them to stack it neatly in one stall of the car garageI had to go back to the old house to help my wife and upon returning I found they had just spread out the furniture throughout the garage thru stalls I made them go back to stacking it neatly and helped in doing so They finally finished at 7pm and the head mover came inside to give me the bill to pay He said that they had underestimate the job and although the low bid was $*** and the high was $*** I was handed a bill for $*** 168% of the highest bid!! I told him I wasn't going to pay that and he said to pay it and call the office to get it straightened out to which I refused and told him to call his office so I could talk thru this with management He tried to contact someone in charge but couldn't reach anyone I told him I would pay and additional $*** and he said he couldn't accept anything other than the full bill, so I told him I wasn't going to pay at all and to have his office call me the next day After a week of going back and forth I agreed to pay them and additional $*** over the highest estimate I also had opted for $*** to get the insurance up to $*** instead of ** cents per pound at the beginning of the move As it turned out they damaged a lot of things Furniture, glass, our new hardwood floors, etc,etc All in all I have to say that I would never recommend Black Belt Movers to anyone They were polite but very inexperienced young non-professional movers who ended up costing me a lot more than they promised The move was on April 26th, and I'm writing this on June 5th and the insurance company still hasn't settled the claim, which is many thousands of dollars for the damage they did

Over charging and breaking contract for damage furniture
Ok, these guys signed a contract that said they pay out damage with *** a poundI got a check for ONLY*** check and that is not even closeOn the check it said *** was credited back earlierWell yeah, THAT was credited because it took them over hrs to move because they "forgot" to bring furniture dolly to make less trips back and forthThose guys agreed it wasn't right and THATS why I got that, to give me some of that time backNow they are going to take that back and say its now going towards the damage?? Yeah I don't think soThe total damage was a couple hundred pounds in damaged furnitureThey broke their own contractIts time for lawyersIve had it and this is over months after we already moved*** did move, *** home office doing nothing

Movers used elevator and was told when hired they would not unless necessary, which added too much time!
I spoke with *** to hire Black Belt Movers for my move on ***I explained live on 3rd floor have elevator but at opposite end of bldg *** stated movers would not use elevator unless necessary because it would take too much time *** and ***, movers, used elevator for EVERYTHING, did not use the steps once, not even with empty two wheelers My people and I ended up carrying 1/of boxes down the steps to save time They would leave and not return for 20-minutes each time They even wanted to take a bedframe apart that weighs less than 20lbs because it wouldn't fit on elevatorI carried it down the steps myself *** complained of everything that day, rain, boxes, people, he never once had a positive attitude It took 1/hrs to load, one hr to unload I have pictures of all items and can show that in no way should my move had taken hrs! I mo

Three issues:
Truck parked blocking street Truck or another car damaged neighbor's lawn
Damaged walls
Questionable billing practice
On ***, Black Belt movers moved a piece entertainment center from a neighbors house to our house During the move, they blocked most of the street and either ran over my neighbor's lawn or another car going around the truck went into their lawn The movers indicated it is their policy NOT to block the street The movers indicated they would "make it up" to my neighbor, but didn't not offer any compensation for damages for the ruts in their lawn
Upon inspection of the walls in my house, a chuck of dry wall was damaged and other long indentations were left in the wall Those items were not disclosed by the movers when the left our house to my wife When I arrived home I saw this and contacted the movers They offered to come out and fix the damage, but would not sand or paint the damaged area I requested a discount of

Failed reasonable services, to complete job, return items moved to original condition, provide itemized receipt, provide insurance info for damages

Damage in our house during our move not repaired after promise to do so
We used them to move us from one house to the otherThere was damage done to the first house that I fixed personallydrywall damage mainlydamage to the new house was drywall damage, doorway gouges, refrigerators damaged,we were paid for refer, and another was to have a part ordered and we never saw thatWe were told in several emails that the repairs for the doorway damage would be taken care ofThere was little if any follow up, I initiated all repair requestsI have all the emails sent by Black belt saying they would fix the problemOr have them fixed by an outside sourceOur move was watched over by *** ***We moved ***, the total bill was approx$***We paid by check in full on the move daySeveral promises and no results

incorrect estimate and overcharged and items left at the house and no follow up contact
The person who initially came out to my house to assess the quote and what was needed was wrongI thought about telling him to bring their biggest truck
but then decided he is the professional so he should know what he is doing - I was wrongthey did not bring the largest truck and so were not even close
I didn't even move three couches to the new house and they still had to make a second trip
it would have all fit into one trip if the largest truck was usedinstead they had to do a second trip and it cost me at least $*** extra because of thatI even talked on the phone about it with the
person who did the estimate while the move was going on and they said they would get back to me after the move and "make it right" - never heard from him
On top of that, a couple guys from "corporate" came out to give the movers some cold water and I explained my issue to one of those guys and go
