Review: On 10/28 early morning I had a big rig accident and towed to this Co. in Weed by info recv'd from CHP. Later that day I picked up the trailer only with another driver. On 10/30 mid afternoon, my partner went to pick up our personal belongings left behind and was told the other driver took everything, well I was at home and no one else had been there except for when I picked up the trailer only on 10/28. They literally cleaned us out, from our bedding, to plastic utensils and salt and pepper. They took blankets, sheets, pillows (except for 1) sleeping bag, clothing, tools, heating elements, radios, pocket knives, chargers,food, water, plastic bags even stripping parts from outside the tractor. Leaving behind a broken cooler and 1 pillow. They claimed no responsibility for this incident and from my experience you are supposed t o be able to come back and pick up your personal belongings when a vehicle is towed. This is not good work ethics for any type of business, especially with a referral from the CHP who take an oath to "Serve and Protect". For Black Butte Towing, [redacted], ([redacted]) employees to claim ignorance and put the blame on someone who did nothing but pick up a trailer, is beyond comprehension of good faith. After all don't they have surveillance camera's and/or some type of guard or trustworthy employees? After a traumatic incident, the last thing you want to find is that on top of it, ALL your belongings have vanished. This is a Personal violation and we can only be thankful for Karma at this point, while we are left without. It's not like they were spread across the highway(thank goodness), they were all contained inside of the tractor, and according to Yelp review dated 9/4/2011 the Best Tow company around needs a review in Honesty and Integrity. Although no problem with towing, Company Policy and Procedures need polishing with "the Golden Rule".....Do onto others!Desired Settlement: We would like our property returned.

Baseball cap, cigarette lighter, and a pillow case. That's what he lost. and a bunch of food, ready made tortillas is what he told my people. We allowed his other driver and another truck to go through the truck/ there was two drivers to look for the billed lady. Those were the only people that we allowed to go into the truck PERIOD. No one breaks into a double fenced yard to steal to a baseball hat, pillowcase, and cigarette light, and leaves the pillow and bedding and everything else. As far as I know that is the best we can do. We only allowed his driver and thats a fact. We hold the State of California Evidence Tow, we are doubled fenced , and we have security camera that show people coming in and out of my yard, and the only person we allowed to go into the truck was his driver. Trust. That's all I know and That' all I got.
