I have had three months of headaches with scheduling payments for one car loan. Thankfully we will be paying off this car this year. There were several steps in enrolling in automatic withdraw and even after calling, the technical support was minuscule. I was talked to as if I were dumb. Ironically, I work in educational technology and can guarantee you, the TCU websites are NOT user friendly, since I create websites for teachers and students!
After finally getting things set up, we wanted to change the date of processing our payment. Emailed the credit union, got that approved, but our payments continued to come out on the original date, I called to make sure the date change was effective and was told (with a very short tone) that "YOU are supposed to change that on the website."
Well after 20 (confusing) clicks on the website, I called and was walked through what ended up being a lengthy process where you needed to make even more passwords and usernames.
Changed it! Done, or so I thought.
The next month the payment came out AGAIN on the wrong date. (We aren't talking about a day early, 2nd of the month vs. 15th of the month). I called and was informed yet again, "YOU as supposed to change that on the website." How are we as costumers supposed to know when things are on us to change things vs. the company? I ended up having to make a few more changes, had several more clicks, delete the first set up of automatic payment, and the changed one. I had create a new one, OR I would be paying twice in one month.
Aggravated at the lack of communication, website interface, and tone of those at the Member Call Center.
