Review: Black Diamond Paving LLC installed a new driveway at my home in October 2014 within 2 weeks the surface of the driveway was disintegrating and washing away in the rain. We reached out to [redacted] the owner, she finally came to look at the work in May of 2015 with her business partner and agreed that the driveway needed to be replaced again after only 7 months.

Since [redacted] visit in May she has stopped, accepting my calls does not respond to text messages or return my voicemails and to date has not refunded the cost of the work as agreed.

Review: We had Black Diamonds paving come out and install a driveway and add additional paving to our property. After many meetings before the job began, which included our neighbors, they installed the driveway over the property line. Additionally, the pitch of the driveway now floods our neighbor’s backyard and our garage. Much damage is occurring from water in our garage now., the damage to our existing structure is becoming extensive with every weather precipitation. We have emailed, called, texted, from many numbers (close to 75 times) and they will not return our calls or any communication. We had initial conversation with them when the installation first occurred (the day they installed) and they stated what they would do to fix it, and have not done so. They will not answer emails, phone calls, or any communication. Soon the factories will stop producing pavement for the winter and we will not be able to fix this issue for months- that is if they respond. .....This not only affects us, but our neighbors. They are not threatening us with a lawsuit. Thanks for any help you provide.Desired Settlement: To remove new driveway- relay another driveway on our property- fix the water into the garage issue and remediation of any structural damage to our home. Additionally, repair any damage to our neighbors property this has caused.

Review: We used this company to repave our driveway. Within a week of completing paving we noticed that the asphalt near the foundation sloped into the foundation so when it rained water drained into the foundation. We also noticed another area where water was pooling. We called [redacted], numerous times and always had to leave a message. She did not call us back until we had left 4+ messages and then left us a message saying she would come out and repair it the following week. I then left her a message stating that I did not want it repaired if it was going to look like a patch and I wanted to discuss it prior to her repairing it. She never called back and never showed to complete the repair. Several weeks later on 9/30/14 she texted my husband that she was at the house and about to make the repair. A picture of them working on the driveway was sent to his phone, but it was obviously hard to see what the repair actually looked like. [redacted] said by text that she would come back out if necessary. Upon arriving home we saw the repair looked like a very bad patch and not at all what we were requesting. The asphalt is much higher where the repair was done and now it causes water to pool in front of the garage. Additionally only one repair was completed.

When [redacted] came out to do the initial paving job, while pulling up the old driveway a metal grounding rod was dug up. When the new driveway was laid, the grounding wire was left out and the old grounding rod was buried under the new pavement. My husband agreed to have an electrician come to reinstall it at our expense, and it was purposely left out of the asphalt. When she came out to complete the repair, she partially buried it in the asphalt so it is immovable and can not be buried or repaired. In order for a grounding wire to be installed in the current situation, it would have to be buried into the new driveway. We called her that day to try to discuss the issue with her and make her aware that we couldn’t repair the grounding wire since it was now buried under the patch. She did not respond to our call. [redacted] has not returned the 6+ messages that we have left since the repair. Our new driveway looks horrible with a bad repair that and now we can't fix the electrical issue.Desired Settlement: The rod needs to be removed from the asphalt so an electrician can repair and bury it. The patch needs to be removed or repaired so it does not look like a patch. The other low area needs to be resolved. The driveway needs to look like the new driveway we paid for and are entitled to.

Black Diamond paving was hired to perform a repair at my house. It was a sawcut and patch. The job came out so nice I wanted to have more work done. The professionalism and teamwork was incredible. I would recommend Black Diamond Paving and I have to many friends.

Review: On 7/29/14 Black Diamond Paving put in a new driveway at my home. We were unable to access the driveway for a few days. On 8/7/14 my wife and I noticed a defect with part of the driveway and I contacted the owner [redacted] immediately. She told me she knows about the problem and she will come out to take a look at it to see what she can do. 8/26/14 she still did not come out, so I contacted her again with a response from her that she would come back out to take a look at it. 9/24/14, still no sign of Black Diamond Paving, so I contact her again, but this time I have gotten no response. There is a defect/blemish on a part of my driveway that will need to be corrected since the driveway is starting to come up in that one area.Desired Settlement: I would like a repair of the driveway to my satisfactory. I do not want to have a driveway that doesn't look proper after paying out a lot of money for this.
