Review: After researching the company website([redacted]) and observing the products available on 8/26 I called and talked to company president [redacted] regarding the advertised shipping included price of $80 for 100lbs(2x50lbs) of paramagnetic rock dust. Mr. [redacted] affirmed the price was current and provided me with the Black Diamond Quarry address to mail a personal check made out to him since they didn't do credit cards through the site. The check with all pertinent delivery/contact information was mailed 8/28/2013 with an e-mail to his account as a follow up. Realizing he had to make sure the check cleared before shipping I waited for 2 weeks before contacting him by phone where he told me he had been out of town but had received the check and would ship the product soon. After checking with my bank and learning the check had still not been cashed as of 9/23 I e-mailed him on 9/24 asking for an update. As of today 10/1/2013 I have not rec'd any communication back, the product he agreed to supply or the return of my payment. And as of 3:30pm PST the check had still not been tendered to my bank.Desired Settlement: If the agreed upon transaction can't be completed as promised I would like my personal check returned to me so that I don't have to incur the further expense of $30 for putting a hold on it at my bank. Personal assurance of the checks destruction by Mr. [redacted] will not be acceptable.

I talked to the customer, [redacted], and everything is worked out. I am having some of the material dried so it can be screened, and he is comfortable waiting for it to dry.

Thank you for your assistance. I accept Mr. [redacted]'s explanation and apology for the lapse in communication regarding my order. His offer to fulfill it at no charge was appreciated but declined. We will complete this transaction as originally agreed.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
