First just to state that the client *** is being paid for the damages through us and the detailing company that sent us to himWe tried our up most best to help *** solve the problems with the screen even though there was no physical evidence it was us that caused itWe even had the customer
check around the vehicle when we were done with the detail and he had us wipe the screen because there was a smudge on it and he checked it after saying it was goodIt was not until a week or two later that he actually complained about the screenOur all purpose cleaner is all interior safeWhen he told us it was damaged I didn't say that I would pay for it I simply stated that the problem will be solvedWe did take a while to try to get it figured out and that part was a fault on usBut we told the customer after long investigation it could not have been us but for the inconvenience we told the customer we would pay halfHe agreed to it and we were settled with itThe customer was super nice up until a week had gone by after this agreementI called the customer to follow up with him and he simply just rejected us and got frustrated because he was not happyHe threatened my business with never getting any more customers and since then he has harassed my postings to the internet with fake profiles to downgrade us to a lower level but simply this was unprofessional to the worstI plan on calling the customer to hopefully at east establish a nice relationship non work related to show that we ment no harm by not paying full price for something we did not doThis is definitely a learning curve for us but we are willing to apologize to the customer for everythingBut in the en also the damages are being paid forBut being harrased on the internet to shove the company down that feeds my family to pay for a screen that actually worked but was just dimmed a tiny bit is too much
