Black Horse Autoplex Reviews (2)

Review: Bought a 2002 [redacted] Xterra from Black Horse Autoplex on March 23, 2013.The check engine light came on while driving the vehicle back home to New York, called and talked to the dealership,on 3/25/2013 they asked me to have the vehicles computer code ran, pulled up three codes. I then called the dealership back to let them know , I then started to get the "run around" with them. Then the temporary registration and paper plate given the day of sale was to expire.on April 11, 2013, I called, finally talked to the owner to which he told me I had to pay an additional $661.78 due to an adjustment with the bank loan,or I could not get the registration,to which I paid that day an later found out from the bank this was untrue.I then mentioned the car problems,he transferred me to another person to give the codes to them, heard nothing more from them. Finally on April 20, 2013 my registration and plates arrived at my house,[redacted]. When I purchased the vehicle, all paperwork was done to transfer plates from my previous vehicle to the Xterra,. New plates , ten day temporary inspection sticker and the registration arrived. This confused me in a way that, I do not know who forged my name on DMV papers or who registered the vehicle in New York with new plates and all, with them knowing the vehicle was not going to pass inspection, also found out later on that the dealership also charged me more than the advertised price. Since all that has taken place,I have called numerous times to which no employee will talk to me or I am told the owner is not there. The bank has been informed to the situation and have documented the issues. As of today August 28, 2013 I have all paperwork and two failed inspection reports and two of the three codes are major codes that this dealership obviously knew about and sold me this vehicle knowing it had major issues and not able to pass inspection. All issues mentioned need to addressed by the dealership to which I have had no prevail and need help with.Desired Settlement: I would like the desired outcome to be, for the dealership to pay for the repair of the vehicles codes to pass inspection and be safe to drive, a refund of the $661.78 that was "blackmailed" an robbed from me. I would like the dealership to honor the advertised price of $6995.00,Due to being there all day into hours after normal business hours,an being "pampered" this is what I was lead to believe I was paying, not the 9850.00, I was charged,at final. This number I was never informed of or was this price advertized anywhere. Would like to know how the vehicle got registered in New York under my name. Or, have the dealership refund me all money that has been paid, take the vehicle back and void the contract, to which the bank is in full agreement with me,and this outcome.

Review: I purchased a 2007 [redacted] Compass with extended warranty and 4 months later the transmission failed. I spoke with Dealership and they did nothing. I called warranty and car was sent to shop. 4 weeks later no car transmission was installed but warranty approved transmission to be replaced and I received a call from[redacted] transmission denied part of the installation. The warranty[redacted] approved for this all to be done and at the very end of the installation denied the electri part of the transmission. I am paying for a warranty and car that I do not have. Dealership was very unprofessional and did not care that they sold me a unreliable vehicle. I have struggled to get to work the past 4 weeks and constantly on the phone doing what I can to make ends meet. This dealership sold me a car and warranty that was no use to me and my family.Desired Settlement: The dealership should be responsible for any service repair done that warranty does not cover.
