I placed an order with this business to be delivered through *** on Friday evening, 2/21 at 6pm. about 30 minutes later, the restaurant called me directly and advised me that they had given my driver the wrong order and then asked me if I could bring the order that was delivered to me back to them and come pick mine up. So you are asking me to return food that has already been in my possession (health code violation) but now I am also asked to come get my own food after I had already paid for it to be delivered. I got to Black Oak kitchen and the hostess acted like she had no clue what I was talking about and stated they never called me. I asked for a manager and a gentleman who looked in his 20's came out to me and the first thing he said was "what's your problem" I asked him to please not speak to me like that and that I am trying to find my order. He said "if you don't like it, you can leave" and then proceeded to just walk away from me. I have NEVER had a manager speak or deal with a customer this way. I left the restaurant in tears, with a $60 bill for food we never received. This manager should NOT be working with the public after the experience I had. They owe me money and I involve my lawyer if I am not fully refunded and there are repercussions for the way I was spoken to.

I received a complaint from the Revdex.com regarding Ms *** and a togo order she placed through the "***" app, a delivery service our restaurant had just started using. On the night of Feb 21 Ms. placed a togo order for $65.60. When the food was ready for pickup our hostess, who was new to the *** system, accidentally called Ms. to tell her the food was ready, thinking she was calling the driver - this was simply human error and a case of an employee trying to do the right thing but mistakenly calling the wrong person. After the *** driver arrived and picked up the food, Ms. showed up and caused a scene in the restaurant because her food had already been picked up. The "20 year old looking manager" she referenced is my 30 year old business partner. While I was not at the restaurant at the time of the incident I have spoken to many employees who were to get a better understanding of what transpired that evening. While we certainly are not without fault, and I attribute this to growing pains learning the new delivery system, the manner and attitude of Ms. was not what I deem to be an acceptable way to behave and talk to my staff. I also had not received any other correspondence regarding this matter until the letter from the Revdex.com arrived. It is my understanding that Ms. did receive the food she ordered, albeit not in the timely manner she was expecting. I did not realize this was a continuing issue for her but now that I have, I have contacted *** and had a refund issued at the expense of the restaurant. This could have been handled very easily as *** has ways that allow a customer to dispute and be refunded for any delivery that they are unhappy with. Once this was brought to my attention I have immediately attempted to rectify the situation. Please let me know if any other steps are required from me.

I am the customer and how I wish to submit a complaint about this restaurant is my choice so I don’t need to be told I could’ve gone through ***. They did nothing wrong. It was your staff who called me, asked me to drive down there with a delivery I NEVER RECEIVED and then pick up my own. When I got there, your hostess pretended like she had no idea what I was talking about. I didn’t get irate until after your “business partner” was beyond rude to me the second I asked for a manager. Your response is disgusting and me, being the customer, I have every write to submit this to Revdex.com. your business partner will NOT speak to the public the way he did and I will go to the press.
