this matter prior to your letter. I had already made an attempt to call [redacted] myself to help explain our deposit policies which are clearly posted at our business front desk for all customers to see. I have received no response from him at this time. After speaking with [redacted] Griffin about the complaint, [redacted] has stated that at the time the deposit was received he explained to [redacted] that it could be a week or so to prepare the artwork he requested and that his deposit is non-refundable due to preparation time involved by the artist and that his deposit would be put towards the cost of his tattoo at the time it was completed. [redacted] then had made phone contact with [redacted] within just a few days time after receiving the $50 deposit to prepare his artwork for him. [redacted] did not receive a response back from [redacted] until several day's later, at which time [redacted] stated that he liked the design that was prepared for him and was now ready to schedule his appointment time to get the design tattooed. After [redacted] checked his schedule availability, he right away messaged [redacted] back with several appointment times he had open. Again, it was several days later that [redacted] messaged him back. This time, only to say that he wanted his deposit back because he thought the process was taking too long. Again, [redacted] explained that the deposit was non-refundable and that he had already invested hours of his time into preparing [redacted] drawing for him. At this time [redacted] got very upset and was very disrespectful and belligerent towards him. [redacted] then stated that he would have the owner of the business contact him about the matter.This matter has also been discussed with 4 other people who work at Black Pearl Tattoo in an effort to determine if [redacted] had indeed stopped in the shop or called the shop directly to leave a message or discuss the matter. All 4 people said that [redacted] did not stop in or leave any kind of message to their knowledge. Everyone here at Black Pearl Tattoo has a great appreciation and strives towards excellence when it comes to our customer service! After 12, years in business in the Kenosha area Black Pearl Tattoo has served thousands of customers and to the best of our knowledge has never had a complaint with the Revdex.com.In conclusion, as the owner of Black Pearl Tattoo I have determined that the complaint involving [redacted] does not warrant a refund due to our deposit policy and also due to the fact that [redacted] Griffin did his part as an artist here at Black Pearl Tattoo and followed through with his client obligations.Sincerely,[redacted]President & Owner

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]The information being provided is incorrect, I have never heard of a company that is willing to absolutely lie in order to make a complaint go away. I have never had anyone from the shop call, this does include the shop owner. Not once have they called to resolve this issue, except when [redacted] called very angry and aggresive because I wanted a refund. I do have a complete text and phone call record to back up my statement, that I will be happy to provide to the Revdex.com in order to support my case. However, I can already see that this company does not care about customer service, and have no intentions on correcting the issue at hand. Any company willing to lie on official document clearly will never do anything to reach a resolution. This makes me feel that when I walked in the door my safety was in danger due to the fact they are behaving like criminals in order to make this complaint go away
