This is a follto a complaint received from [redacted] on July 23rd stating that my company was contesting a reversal she initiated with her credit card companyThe reversal was flagged as done on PAYPAL to determine if it is a legitimate reversalOnce we concluded we were going to return Ms [redacted] funds it was released and she has received her full refund on $

On July 23, I received an email saying Larren [redacted] is willing to refund $via method of payment.Initially, I contacted my credit card and had the charge temporarily reversedMr [redacted] is now fighting the reversalTherefore, he is not willingly refunding my money\ [redacted]

As of June 18, the payment made by [redacted] ***s for the related Capital Jazz Getaway that she purchased from Black Sense Entertainment, has been refunded in full via her method of payment for a total of $Thank you, Larren [redacted]

*** *** *** This is my response to Ms***’s complaint in regards to the Capital Jazz Weekend Getaway package that she purchased through my companyWe offered a package that included hotel accommodations, roundtrip motor-coach transportation, oneSaturday and
one Sunday general admission concert ticket into the Capital Jazz Fest, access to our exclusive lounge with complimentary music, food and beverages and transportation to and from the concert as she attached in her complaintHer complaint arose from us not being able to secure a general admission ticket to the Saturday Capital Jazz concert, which she stated is the main day and that is not correct because the Capital Jazz Fest have widely recognized artists throughout the three day festivalWe have approximately guests that booked this trip this year and have done so over the last five yearsWith that in mind, I will describe what occurredWe purchase our general admission tickets through Capital Jazz group salesTickets go on sale within the 1st two weeks of April and groups have until May 2nd to purchase ticketsThey only accept ticket requests and payment by certified check via mail to their PO BoxOn April 29th, our ticket request and payment was sent to Capital Jazz via 2-Day Priority Mail and should have arrived on May 1st, however, there was some type of delay via the Post Office which we did not know about which resulted in the ticket request arriving on May 5thThe Capital Jazz staff did not pitheir mail again until May 11th as shown on the tracking formOn May 13th, they sent us an email to inform us that they did not receive our request by the deadline date of May 2nd and that all Saturday general admission tickets were sold-out at that timeThey gave us two options, the first being that they still had Friday concert tickets available and we can replace the tickets with those or secondly, they can refund the money for the Saturday tickets we sent the payment forWe contacted the Capital Jazz Customer Service and asked them to escalate this issue to the organizer since we have attended and been supporters of the festivals as a large group for the last four yearsIn addition, we tried to see if we could purchase tickets via a third party site as suggested by one of their staff membersUnfortunately, after three days of going back and forth with the Capital Jazz organizers and exhausted all other options, we informed all our guests including Ms*** on May 16th of the situation and followed up again on May 18th explaining the options that were availableWe could not and have not cancelled this trip as we were locked into other commitments and contracts as listed above (i.ehotel, buses, etc.) which I explained to Ms*** on the telephone based around it being a weekend getaway, therefore, we offered Ms***, as well as all of guest, the option for the portion of the weekend that we couldn’t provideIt included either a refund for that portion of the ticket @ $or a substitute concert ticket for FridayIn addition, we have added a complimentary day trip to Washington, DC and Arundel Mills Outlet on SaturdayPlease understand that we wanted to provide a fair resolution for everyone in this matter as we have a great reputation in the State of Connecticut, where Ms *** resides, for providing high quality travel and entertainment servicesSincerely,

I am rejecting this response because: the process by which tickets are acquired is not my responsibility The company advertised a trip that included two tickets, which I paid for in full, in February My full payment and receipt were the guarantee that I would receive the advertised package I did not agree to or submit payment for an alternate activity The company decided to provide this after it was unable to provide me with what I originally paid for, and what was originally advertised Because of this fact, (being that the company is now in breach of it's contact), I am entitled to a full refund The burden of the companies "processing issue", did not fall on me, the client/customer If you are unable to deliver the services that I paid for, then a full refund is in order
