Company advertised a month free if you completed 30 classes in January they charged me anyway. When I found out on my March bill they acknowledged their mistake but said they would only refund half because it was “too late”. They should never have charged me in the first place

We wanted to explain why BSY refunded $44, which was 50% of their membership instead of the full amount. Part of the requirement to participate in the 30 day challenge was to be enrolled on our platform MindBody under that certain enrollment. This way we were able to track everyones attendance and honor their free month. *** was not enrolled and whether this was BSY's fault or not, I am unsure, but either way, when it came to tallying up everyones attendance, she was not on our list. I included a screen shot of the sign up list. We did talk to her at the end of March and told her what happened, but did see she completed the 30 days in her attendance so wanted to honor it in some way even though we were 2 months past honoring free months. We refunded her 50%. At the time, we felt that was fair and a way of staying within our requirements.
I understand her frustration and definitely want to settle this and happy to refund her the remaining $44. I just wanted to explain our process from last year first so there was some basis of understanding. I am assuming I will just get in touch with her through email and handle that with her and make sure the card she has on file is still an appropriate one to refund.
