Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:The Cab driver did not indicate the fare in advance. After several miles of driving and at my request (I noticed the meter was not being used), the driver contacted the dispatcher and asked what the fare should be. Then I was told it was $220....

By that time my wife and I were in the middle of the forest. The driver did give me the option to get out...but it was very late at night and we were in the wilderness...so I had no choice at that time. The cab was already at my pick up location when we entered the cab. Not sure what difference it makes what city the company's office is in if the car was already in St. Helena. After several attempts, [redacted] did call me back. He did offer me a $40 discount and I did refuse. I was taken advantage of by Black Tie Taxi in the middle of the night. Accepting the $40 discount was less important to me than informing other potential victims of this predatory practice.[redacted] Sincerely,[redacted]
