Black Tine Outfitters

I booked a full day hog hunt with Black Tine Outfitters, Fort McCoy, Florida for myself and my son. The hunt was to start at 6 AM. The guide finally showed up at 6:45 AM. Because he was so late he took us right to the blind where we would be hunting. We did not receive a safety briefing or any other briefing for that matter. Black Tine's website specifically states 'our professional staff will take the time to give instructions and advice on the "do's and don'ts" of wild hog hunting.? That did not happen. We only saw our guide 4 times ? when he took us to the blind, when he brought us back to the base camp to pay for the hunt, when he took us back to the blind, and when we left. We did not receive any assistance or instruction during the day. During the entire 8+ hours in the blind we saw only two small 'piglets? and my son saw two hogs that were deep in the brush and not in position to take a shot. I did not see the hogs. Seeing the futility of staying longer my son fired a shot to alert the guide to come and take us back to the base camp. No one came to get us so we had to walk back to the base camp. When I discussed this with the Ranch Manager he stated, 'Why would you fire a warning shot to let the guide know to come get you. You were instructed during the safety briefing to simply call or text the guide.? At no time were we told to call or text the guide or given a number to do so. Once again we did not receive a safety as the Ranch Manager said we received. I contracted for a full day hog hunt with Black Tine Outfitters for myself and my son and paid them the full price for the hunt. I fulfilled my half of the contract. Black Tine Outfitters did not provide the product and services that I contracted for and therefore did not fulfill their half of the contract.
