Hi Jay,
Thank you keeping me posted with my Revdex.com complaint. There has been...

a
development since I originally submitted the complaint. Since the
company (Black Tyde Tactical, LLC) whom I bought the item through was
unable to give me any useful information on my item, I messaged the
manufacturer ([redacted], Inc.) of the item inquiring how long it
would be until my order was filled. They state "that order has been
canceled quite some time ago." They are unable to tell me who
cancelled the order, why it was cancelled, or when it was cancelled.
This comes as news to me; I thought my order was still placed and I
was waiting for the item. However, it appears the order no longer
exists. Even after sharing what I had uncovered with Black Tyde
Tactical, they are refusing to refund the full amount of my money.
They state that they are willing to offer a partial refund minus a 20%
restocking fee (which does not make any sense, given that the order
was cancelled at some point and does not exist, meaning there is no
"restocking" to be done) in addition to a 4% merchant's fee (whatever
that means). I think that their offer of a partial refund is
ridiculous (given that the order was cancelled without informing me,
the paying customer) and I still would like a full refund.
Furthermore, their customer service is continuing to prove to be
unacceptable. When I stated that I would pursue legal action against
Black Tyde Tactical LLC, they responded with an email that, in part,
said: "Lets put the threats aside. 1 yr for legal action in court has
passed (statue has expired). Second, charge back has expired after 1yr
as well. You have NO legal recourse. Now the big dick contest is
over." Obviously this is unacceptable conduct toward a paying customer
who would simply like either 1) the item I paid for or 2) a full
refund. By the way, I have saved all emails between me and Black Tyde
for documentation purposes if need be. Thank you for your time, and
please do not hesitate to contact me if you require anything else.
