I have six small children myself and would never do anything to make a customer feel uncomfortable or scared. I just told her payment is due upon completion of the service. have the funds, I would have glady accepted payment over the phone or even held a check. I worked with this home owner when they lost there job after the first service and put a freeze on the account until they could resume the three additional services they agreed to. When I was called about this I apologized for any misunderstanding. The home owner just wanted to cancel, I kindly obliged and waived the cancelation fee that they would have gotten for not finishing there contract. She seemed satisfied, I was surprised to see this complaint as she never said anything about her daughter in law being scared, I remember having friendly small talk about her kids being the age of mine and never feeling there was any sense of her feeling uncomfortable.  The service had been scheduled ans comfirmed prior to comming out so the homeowner was aware of the service cost and when we would be there. If she did not have the funds to pay she could have rescheduled with no problem.
