On Monday, October 24, 2016, I called The Cookie Lady in Maumee, OH, at 8:a.mto place an order for four dozen assorted cookies, to be picked up at 4:p.mthe following day I spoke with "***" and told her what I wanted, when I would pick up the cookies, and asked for a price She quoted $ 19.40, to which I agreed I mentioned, "Well, that's a good price under dollars ...it's for a group at church." At exactly 4:p.mon Tuesday, October 25, I arrived at the store to pick up the order At that time I was told by the clerk that the price was now $ I questioned the difference, and she replied that "***" had made a mistake I asked for a consideration, in that I am retired and on a fixed income, and had agreed to $ with "***" The clerk responded, "No !"The other clerk became involved, and also responded to the effect that the price was $ I feel that both clerks were very disrespectful Not knowing what was available at a nearby Kroger store or a nearby Meijer store, I very reluctantly paid $ via debit card I contacted "***" at the store on Wednesday morning at 11:a.mand got the same rude and disrespectful attitude "I made a mistake" So, she lied to me again I had worked in sales for many years, and have never lied to or disrespected a customer [redacted] , a very successful year old real estate agent in Pittsburgh, once said, "Make a customer, not a sale" This was my second time in your store this year It will also be my last time in your store !!
