Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The response that was given, I due not agree with I did not hire Blackfinn ***To just make an offer of compromise on my behalfAfter meeting with them to discuss my tax issues and to see what they could help me with, it was agreed upon that the offer of compromise would only be considered as the very last resort In the response given, there are claims made that are completely inaccurate and shows that no attempt was made to get an explanation from the ***As to why they did not except my discharge from the chapter Bankrutcy fiellingThey never provided me any explanation or paper work showing as to why, or that an attempt was made I provided transcripts to Blackfin dated 06-16-I would like to see the copy they claimed to have ordered, they should have a later dateI attached the same transcripts to this response to show that the activity that Blackfin claims to have happened in there response is inaccurate #is to show the discrepancy that Blackfin was supposed to address with the *** This shows me fielling and twice once in and again late This discrepancy is more than likely the reason the ***is not respecting my Bankrutcy dischargThe later fielling date wich is incorrect would make my discharge not meet the criteria to be discharged Should have been an easy thing to have cleared up With the ***and could have changed my account dramatically On there response Blackfin claims that the ***made an abatement to my account for the Bankruptcy dischargeItems #and#on my transcripts show that they again are incorrectAdjustments that were made were due to my supsitute for return protest that was filed on 04-15-The adjustments that Blackfin claims to be due to The Bankrutcy are adjustment made to tax filings, #shows a zero abatement for the Bankruptcy and the ***Removing the discharge from there file I am not sure why this is hard to see or understand by a compident tax person? I would not have considered an offer of compromise without these issues being addressed and resolvedThe numbers that Blackfin drafted an offer of compromise with are completely incorrect and out of date, other activities have a cured that have reduced the amount on my account substantially They have made other mistakes threw this process that concern me, and I feel that a refund of my money is due! BlackFin IRS Solutions has been in frequent contact with *** *** regarding his tax liabilities with the *** *** *** The *** issue was not a part of the services we were retained for as it is with a different agency, the ***

Blackfin has indeed resolved the issue, in fact, going above and beyond my expectations

BlackFin IRS Solutions has resolved the case with Mr. [redacted]. We have fulfilled our BlackFin Promise to him and refunded all of his payments. Due to a critical injury that occurred from a car accident with Mr. [redacted]'s attorney, we were unable to fulfill his wishes in the timeframe that Mr. [redacted]...

preferred. We did communicate that the attorney had been involved in a car accident and the senior attorney would be in charge of his case. However, Mr. [redacted] was not satisfied. We then fulfilled the BlackFin Promise and refunded his money.

I am rejecting this response because:
The response that was given, I due not agree with.   I did not hire Blackfinn [redacted]. To just make an offer of compromise on my behalf. After meeting with them to discuss my tax issues and to see what they could help me with, it was agreed upon that the offer of compromise would only be considered as the very last resort.  In the response given, there are claims made that are completely inaccurate and shows that no attempt was made to get an explanation from the [redacted]. As to why they did not except my discharge from the chapter 7 Bankrutcy fielling. They never provided me any explanation  or paper work showing as to why, or that an attempt was made.  I provided transcripts to Blackfin dated 06-16-2015. I would like to see the copy they claimed to have ordered, they should have a later date. I attached the same transcripts to this response to show that the activity that Blackfin claims to have happened in there response is inaccurate . #1 is to show the discrepancy that Blackfin was supposed to address with the [redacted].  This shows me fielling 2002 and 2003 twice once in 20011 and again late 20012. At BlackFin we strive to help every client obtain resolution with the [redacted] and State Agencies. We are not bankruptcy attorneys and we do not handle bankruptcy cases in our office. When Mr. [redacted] came to BlackFin, he requested an Offer In Compromise with the [redacted] to resolve his...

back debt. We informed him we would evaluate his transcripts to see if the [redacted] was supposed to relieve his debt through the bankruptcy. When we received transcripts from the [redacted] and spoke with the [redacted], we found that Mr. [redacted] did not file the 2002 or 2003 return. The [redacted] filed the returns on his behalf. After his bankruptcy, the [redacted] removed $2,248.85 from the 2002 period and $23,936.02 from the 2003 period. Even with those abatements, there was still $18,562.00 of debt remaining. He also had a 2011 balance that was outstanding, bringing his total to over $20,000.00. We then prepared Mr. [redacted]'s Offer In Compromise to relieve him of the remaining debt. We called Mr. [redacted] on September 12, 2016 to come sign his Offer In Compromise. The Offer In Compromise was $2,295.00 to relieve him of the $20,000 of debt. He never called back. We called him a couple times and have heard no response until the Revdex.com complaint. As far as the Statute of Limitations is concerned, Mr. [redacted] failed to attribute his bankruptcy to the timeline. The [redacted] has 10 years to collect upon tax debt from the date of filing. Mr. [redacted] never filed the returns. The [redacted] filed the returns in 2006. His Bankruptcy extended the date 6 months plus the time of the bankruptcy. Therefore, his limitations date was late 2017. At the time, it would have been in his best interest to file the Offer In Compromise and resolve all the debt. We have honored our contract by preparing the Offer In Compromise to resolve all of Mr. [redacted]'s debt. He did not come to sign the Offer.
