I visited Blackfriars for a shellac and a facial (usually priced at 90$, but I bought it on [redacted] for 45)My shellac chipped within the weekI usually would have my shellac done [redacted] , and have never had it chipMy nails typically grow out and I will peel them off before they chipSo I wasn't super impressed with the shellac I would not recommend paying full price for the facialIt was maybe worth the I spent on [redacted] The esthetician seemed unfamiliar with the productsI asked her several questions about what she was using on my skin and what it would do, she read some of the ingredients off the packageIt sounded as if she were making it up to meShe also didn't tie any of my hair back and got all the product in my hair, that I had washed and styled before going My overall opinion, this salon is charging too high of prices for the services they are offering

Absolutely horrible service.*** After leaving several messages and sesning several emails trying to book a service using a gift card ge sold me, he was quite rude in his responses then stopped responding all together Would NEVER book there again

I purchased a spa package from door to door people this summer My first apt was lash extensions then hair and makeup the following day Booked it a month in advance and clearly stated it was for a wedding The afternoon of my booking I get a call saying that they cannot do the lashes (staffing issue) had the hair and makeup done the next morning it was a hot day but the hair that was curly when I left was straight in less then an hour had another wedding coming up...did the lashes and it was ok Booked a Brazilian blow out split end treatment on-line it says *** after it was done, they charged me *** shampoo wasn't included apparently (have to have freshly shampooed hair to get this done) paid it not happy *** *** *** total for treatment (including shampoo) *** taxes in I had voiced my complaint in the beginning (the lash issue) and the man I spoke with was very abrupt, Rude (apparently he owns it?) NEVER will I deal with them again

I usually would have my shellac done[redacted], and have never had it chip. My nails typically grow out and I will peel them off before they chip. So I wasn't super impressed with the shellac.
I would not recommend paying full price for the facial. It was maybe worth the 45 I spent on [redacted]. The esthetician seemed unfamiliar with the products. My overall opinion, this salon is charging too high of prices for the services they are offering.
