Blackhawk Technical College

Review: I registered for a group dynamics class and attended the first day. on the first day the instructor notified the class that in the event of an excused absence blackhawk technical college would reschedule the student at no extra cost. by the second day I had contracted pneumonia from my father and that's why I know it was pneumonia, he had been diagnosed. on that second day of class I arrived with a fever to tell the instructor I needed an excused absence. he again informed me that I would have to reschedule and informed me of the process to begin rescheduling. I needed to complete the class in short order to keep my licence so I asked if I could instead attend the class although I didn't have my books with me. the instructor declined and I accepted I would have to reschedule. I began the process to reschedule by leaving a phone message with the appropriate office. several days passed (apx5) and I received no reply. I called again and they neglected to call me back and instead referred me to the rock county assessment office. I then went to blackhawk to see why they weren't rescheduling me as was the policy for an excused absence. they offered no explanation what so ever. I left a message that I wanted a policy letter and their terms of service for their excused absence rescheduling policy. I have it on record they refused to supply me with their terms and conditions or their rescheduling process. I then waited to speak with the instructor. when he arrived security had mat with him first and he refused to speak with me. I then asked security to supply me with their terms and conditions for their excused absence policy and they informed me that no they would not and they said that I un-enrolled two weeks prior to the class which was a complete lie. blackhawk then sent me a letter that they will charge me for trespass for any further contact. this institution has taken no steps to resolve my complaints and it seems clear to me they would craft whatever lies they need to wash their hands of responcibility to me as a customer. this institution has taken no steps to resolve my complaints and it seems clear to me they would craft whatever lies they need to wash their hands of responsibility to me as a customer.Desired Settlement: i'd like a full refund of $300. a letter of appology, assurance everyone involved has been replaced with persons who are not so dishonest.
