Im writing in regards to Ms *** *** complaintMs *** came in on August 16, intersted in a Volvo that we had for saleThe car was $as isAfter she test drove the car and decided that she she wanted to purchase it she asked abouit the cracked windshieldWe explained that
the car is for sale as is but if she wanted the windshield fixed we could get it fixed for her but she had to pay for itMs *** agreed and paid $for a new WindshieldMs *** did not have the full payment of $(car cost $& windshield $200) that dayShe paid a down payment of $600, $in cash and $on a credit card and was to come back on August 20, with the remaining balance of $Ms *** came back on 8/20/and paid the remaining $in cash and we gave her the title and bill of saleWe did not sale her any insurance at allI will admit that we did make a mistake and gave her the wrong titleWe apologized and had her come back and then we gave her the right titleMs*** decided that she did not like the car for mechanical reasons and demanded a refundIn the State of Missouri all sales are final on an As Is sale but we wanted to do the right thing because Ms *** seemed to be a little mentally challenged so we gave her a refund for the $(the price of the car) and told her that we was not refunding the windshield because she demanded that we fix it and she paid for it to get fixedMs *** was upset and even went to the police station and told them that we sold her $insurance and all kinds of other stuffThe police came and questioned us and we showed them receipts of her transaction and they said that we did not break any lawsI'm sorry that Ms*** was unsatified but we tried our best to do the right thing by giving her a refund of the $If you have any more questions about this matter please feel free to contact usThank you for your time
