Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. Per our verbal agreement in mid-June blackline agreed to fix the area of the tread marks where the tire sunk into the blacktopThis was agreed on before the complaint was filed My concern about the question of inches was in the area where the weeds were coming thruI will not pay for core samplesI would like a guarantee that in the area where the weeds are coming thru that the blacktop will last as long as the rest of the drivewayAs you can see by the pictures provided my concern is validAlso I would like a hr notice before any repairs are done. Thank You *** ***

Before we end for the season I will stop and fix the tire mark as for thickness of the drive I would core 10 spots when it is proven, that the average thickness is over 2" I would need to get paid for my time and materials.Stan called our office over 20 times stating this driveway was falling apart...

and there was tar coming out. When I met with him there are 2 or 3 u-shaped scuffs on his drive he said were from his wife's car. I told him they could not be from that he then admitted they were from a carpet cleaner or sewer cleaner. The tar coming from his drive had gone away when I got there, he said it goes away at night. The marks in his drive are not from poor workmanship they are from someone he had do work at his home. I told him when we had time I would fix them for free!! Also his drive is 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 inches thick and all americans asphalt is certified.

Review: gave estimate for driveway, when done almost $200 more. 2 low spots in driveway where puddles sit, and crack across entire driveway when less than 5 months old! have called and spoke with a lisa and doug over 30 times, promised to fix it. always have excuses, too cold, too hot, too busy, too humid, and so on. put me off entire summer of 2014, in spring of 2015 said I was first on list for repairs. now its mid august, and they still haven't made any effort to fix the problem.Desired Settlement: doug said he stopped by and looked at driveway, will add asphault to low spots, and fill crack and sealcoat. thats as far as its gone. keep calling and calling and they never show up. won't give me a date for repairs, said they would do it when in neighborhood. have seen them doing other jobs 3/4 mile from my house, but that must not be close enough????? what a joke.

Review: We asked the paving company on several occasions if the area needed to be marked for them to pave the driveway - we were told no. They ended up paving right over our water shut off valve. The Village of Hatley water person stated this company should have known better. We have been calling them since May with them promising on numerous occasions to come out and fix their mistake and to date they still have not done so. The first week they promised to be out was the week following Memorial Day and numerous times since then and here it is 8/19/14 and nothing has been fixed. Further the edge to our driveway after not even being a year old is all cracked all ready - the company advised it was because we didn't put dirt next to the driveway. First of all they never advised us this needed to be done to keep the driveway from cracking, second of all this excuse is just that an excuse as half of the places it is cracking near the edge the yard meets the driveway - so again their excuse falls short. This is absolutely stressful and ridiculous that this company is not readily fixing their errors.Desired Settlement: We need this company to come out and properly uncover the water shut off valve which shouldn't have been covered in the first place and this needs to be done immediatley so that we can have a reputable company come in to seal coat this driveway in the next few weeks. We would also request that the company either repair or refund for the faulty edging on the driveway. The edging is cracking as it was the new portion of the driveway and wasn't properly packed and when ground sunk it cracked plus there is not a full 2 inches of pavement at the edge again causing cracking - this needs to be repaired properly or money refunded.
