Chris Botsford is the individual who runs this company. We used him initially for two tubs. He was quick in returning phone calls and even coming out for the initial job. Unfortunately, both tubs had peeling and cracking within months. One of the tubs had a minimal leak - we did not try to claim any additional work under warranty - we paid him for a second refinishing on that tub after the leak was fixed. Within a month, that tub was peeling again. We called Chris out once again - he did show up after multiple missed appointments (with no calls or apologies). He peeled back some of the lining and applied some chemicals. Chris then said he would return the next day at a specified time. Not only did he not show, he did not have the courtesy to call to acknowledge his missed appointment or reschedule. We have now been trying to reach him for weeks to no avail. We are unfortunately left with two unusable tubs and no usable warranty as far as we can see. Chris is running a scam. Use another company at any cost. Review: This business keeps changing it's name- Blackrock Refinishing- Whiterock Refinishing. Chris the guy who came out to do the work, re-glaze my tub left the water dripping so now there are bubbles on the bottom of my tub. He also advertised a free drain which he did not install and when I called him about it he said he had to order a special drain for my tub, that was 2 weeks ago. He also told me that he guaranteed his work with a lifetime warranty, I have called him 5 times with no response. I wished I had checked the buiness out on yelp first there are alot of unhappy customers for this business.Desired Settlement: I either want a new drain and fix the glaze on the tub like he promised or I want my $295.00 back so I can hire someone else to fix it.
