Horrible!!!!!!! Ladies beware; make show they tighten your lug nuts when they remove your tires. I wasn't so lucky; my suv was totaled and I suffered a personal injury. My name is [redacted]; I'm a 53 year old woman. I was involved in a car accident July,03,2016; due to Black Tire's negligence. They didn't tighten my lug nuts which caused my drivers' side flew off and rolled in front of me. Black Tires' admitted responsibility; but never apologized for their negligence. It's been six months and I still haven't been compensated for my personal injury. I reached out to the owner [redacted] twice for a resolution for my claim because their insurer has dropped the ball. Black Tire admitted responsibility; but I still haven't been made whole.

Work was performed on vehicle via warranty. Replaced a worn part on vehicle that caused further repairs. Had my vehicle towed to Black Tires due to my financing company having a relationship with them. While my vehicle was there I had my engine replaced and timing belt replaced. During that time Black Tire had to remove the hose to the radiator to put in the new engine. I picked up the vehicle on August 22, 2014. Once getting the car back I noticed it driving funny. I took pictures of something leaking from the car. On September 4, 2014 the car started smoking and I called Black Tire to let them know. They informed me they had no tow vehicle but I could get it towed and they would look it over. On September 5, 2014 they called to say the radiator hose needed to be replaced. I was told by someone there that while my vehicle was there they noticed it was worn but there was no leaks so they didn't worry about it. Instead of calling me when they had my vehicle for 3 weeks to inform me they gave me back a car they knew would need further repairs. And then they tell me that they had no reason to touch the hose but you have to remove the hose when putting the new engine in. Now I have to pay to get the car looked over just to make sure that there is no further damage or things that need to be done to the vehicle due to their negligent behavior . Desired SettlementI want the price I paid for the service which was $111.00. The difference from the car rental in which I had to pay while my car was in the shop which was $181.00. (Because due to them being slow I had to pay for extra days of car rentals). And $4,500.00 for pain and suffering. While there to pick up my vehicle I had people of their service team talking about God and other quotes from biblical terminology to me. Which should not have been said due to the fact that they don't know my religion which was offensive.

I had my car towed to Black's Auto Servicing on 2/24/15 because the engine shut off while driving. We were able to get it to drive to [redacted] parking lot. They called me on 2/25/15 stating the car turned on fine so we explained the engine shut off and the engine check light is staying on and may be done. They call us back again on 2/27/15 and said the heater hose was leaking we need a new thermostat and a new gasket the repairs was $503 plus diagnostic fee $50. We picked the car up from being repaired on 3/12/15 on 3/18/15 the car was back smoking under the hood and smelled burning so we evaluated the car and had it towed to my house. There is some fluid all over under the hood. I called black' auto servicing and explained that the car was back out of service after only 5 days. They stated that I would have to have it towed again to their shop and if it was not a warranty issues I must pay another diagnostic $50 plus new repairs. Their customer service was terrible a man name [redacted] answered the phone was very rude and hung the phone up on me. I want my money back for poor service on my vehicle that is still out of service.Product_Or_Service: 3/12/2015Account_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI want my money back it is fluid all exploded under the hood b/c of their suppose fix to my heater pump. Car still not running rental bill is crazy. Refund $553 Business Response The customer has been advised that we will repair at no charge any defect related to the repairs that we have previously made. If a tow truck is necessary, and the problem is related to our previous repairs, we will also pay the tow bill. If, however; it is determined that a new problem exist not related to our previous repairs, the customer will be responsible for the cost of repairs and the tow charge. The customer was scheduled to bring the vehicle in for us to evaluate recently and did not show up for the appointment. We look forward to evaluating the customers vehicle and making the necessary repairs as necessary. We will reach a satisfactory solution if allowed to do so.

To whom this may concernHi my name is [redacted]. I have recently purchased in the past year and a half four tires from blacks tires. I took my car to [redacted] to have so work done as well as an alignment they told me that 3 of my tires were bad that there were dry rotted. I contacted blacks tires and they are telling me that they have to contact the company who make the tires and that they would have to replace them. Now we have been going through this for a month and a half and still no one has resolved the issue even after sending them pictures that they ask for. I have continuously contacted the store manager corporate office as well as the district manager and all I keep getting is the run around.Product_Or_Service: tiresDesired Settlementhow would like for them to replace my tires with equal or greater value tiresBusiness Response We at Black's Tire strive to make all customer experiences pleasant and rewarding. Concerning the complaint of Mr. [redacted] we have tried unsuccessfully to satisfy him within reason. He did purchase tires from us. 2 tires were purchased on Sept. 17th 2012, 1 tire was purchased on March 27 2102, and 1 tire was purchased on December 4th 2013. The brand of tire that Mr. [redacted] wanted is not a normal tire brand that we represent and had to be resourced through other channels. Mr [redacted] was not interested in a higher quality tire. He wanted the cheapest tire he could get and was not interested in purchasing any type road hazard or replacement warranty. When he returned to us with his issue we explained to him that we would have to work through the manufacturer since that was not a house brand that we carry. After examination by Black's Tire employees it was determined that the cause of the cracks appeared to be from low air pressure. Since this was very low profile [redacted] maintaining the proper air pressure is vital. We explained to Mr [redacted] the probable cause. The manufacturer requested pictures of the tires and after receiving them they determined that low air pressure was the cause of the issue. Mr. [redacted] had requested the contact information of the manufacturer [redacted] which we gave him. He stated that he would work with them. In our efforts to settle the issue we have offered to Mr [redacted] a couple of options. 1) we would install [redacted] tires, which would be a higher quality and sell for $60+ dollars more per tire than he paid for the [redacted] Tires when installed. He paid $108.00 for the [redacted] and we would only charge the difference giving him full credit for tires that are between 4 months old and 18 months old. He would not accept this offer. 2) We offered to replace the [redacted] tires he has with a comparable brand in quality and he would only have to pay for the mounting and balancing of the tires, giving him full credit for the [redacted] tires he had purchased. We made him aware that there would be no warranty against such issues on these tires as well. 20 inch tires are air pressure sensitive because of having very minimal sidewall. He refused this offer as well. It is our opinion that we have exceeded normal expectations trying to satisfy Mr. [redacted]. Consumer Response On April 3rd when I walked into blacks tires to see about a matter that has been going on for a month and a half, blacks tires told me that they would order me a set of tires because this matter has been going on long enough. No one offered any deal about any [redacted] tires they just told me to come on April 4th at 9 o'clock. When I get there I come to find out that they order me a brand of tires called [redacted] that were just under 90 dollars a piece. After that the general manager of that store walked in told me that the tires that was order would not even last two months on my car and that they would split in half and that he could not warranty those tires and he wouldn't even put them on his car. After that I contacted corporate office and they tried to put me in touch with a guy named [redacted] over warranty. After numerous attempts of trying to contact [redacted] leaving numerous of voice mails he finally called me back and tell me that he was in contact with the guys at blacks tires. They told him that they tried to contact me on numerous accounts which was a lie and I told him that no one ever called me. I told him every time I got in contact with them I had to go to the business and 80% of the time the manager wasn't there. At that point [redacted] proceeds to take up for his guys and continue calling me a lie and then tell me that there's nothing that they can do for me. About them them saying that I ask them for the cheapest tires is also a lie. I told them what size tires I had on my car car and what type of car it was, he recommended the [redacted] brand to me and insured to me that it was a good tire and never offered me any road hazard warranty service. Then they say that the damage from the tires are due to low tire pressure when clearly [redacted] told me that they sold me dry rotted tires which I have documentation of them saying that.Final Business Response Our previous response is an accurate detail of the facts and it remains our position on the matter. The offer we made to correct the issue still stands.Regards[redacted]

Improper tire repair and rotation leading to safety issues and ultimate tire replacement and alignment to completely resolve problem.I have a [redacted]. I perform regular maintenance on this vehicle. On Monday, 2/9/15 I took my car into Black's for an oil change and tire rotation. I requested they check the stem valve on one specific tire as it had a slow leak requiring air once every month. I requested they call with their findings prior to fixing. They did not call before they fixed the problem, rather called when the work was completed and apprised me of the problem and fix at that time. I confirmed they changed the oil and rotated the tires. They said they did. They also noted the same on the invoice. Upon returning home with my car, I realized they had not rotated the tires, as the problem tire had been marked and was in the same position. I called the next morning and received an apology that indeed they had not rotated as stated verbally and invoiced. I returned the car and they rotated the tires. At the time they advised I would need new tires in 5,000 - 8,000 miles but was fine for a trip I was taking on 2/11/15. Driving home I noted the car pulled to the left, which it had not done prior to the rotation. One hour into my trip, my low tire pressure light came on. I pulled over, checked it and aired it up as it was at 20psi. An hour later the same thing happened. This happened the duration of the drive. The longest I traveled between filling with air was 2.5 hours. I called [redacted] at Black's Tire, advised him of my situation. He apologized and noted I was out of range of affiliate stations so suggested I have the vehicle serviced and bring the receipt to him and he would reimburse me for the cost. I did indeed take the car into a station for repair. They called each time they found an issue to advise me of the situation and what the fix would entail prior to providing service, something Black's did not do. Ultimately, the threads in the tire separated, so a new tire was required, along with an alignment due to the incorrectly mounted tire. I returned to Black's after my trip, handing [redacted] the receipt and explaining the work that was done to repair. He initially stated he told me the tires needed replacing, to which I reminded him he assured me there was enough tread left to safely make this trip. He confirmed the conversation. He then asked why they couldn't just repair the tire. I explained the threads separated. He then stated he would not be reimbursing me as he previously stated. He would reimburse me for the expense of fixing the tire in his shop, but that was all. I advised I wouldn't have paid for a new tire except that the workmanship he provided on the tire in question was so subpar, that it was required to safely return. He accused me of running over something that damaged the tire. I replied that in the process of having it repaired, it was noted no punctures were found. A new tire was the only option for repair. I am on a limited budget, and had planned for this trip accordingly, but $191.44 for a new tire and alignment was not something I had planned for, but as it was necessary to complete my trip safely, it had to be done. I am extremely disappointed with Black's inability to follow through properly on many things:1. They did not let me know what the problem was with my tire before fixing it as I requested.2. They told me they rotated my tires verbally, and via invoice. Yet they did not. And had I not paid attention, my records would have incorrectly reflected a rotation that did not happen. 3. The 'fix' they performed on my tire potentially put me in danger while on a trip and driving through mountains.4. The 'fix' they performed cost me an additional $191.44 on top of what I paid initially.5. Upon speaking with Black's Tire and advising them of my issue, a guarantee was made for reimbursement, which they did not uphold.I only wish to be reimbursed the cost of the new tire and alignment. That is all.Desired SettlementI am requesting Black's Tire uphold their agreement to reimburse me for repairs to a tire problem created in their shop, by incorrectly mounting a tire and improperly rotating my tires. The amount of repair was $191.44.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] General ManagContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email:[redacted]Complaint has been resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
