This company let us cancel our service since they were unable to get the internet working in our area, however, they have continued to remove 316.00 from our checking account for the last two months. This is the most dishonest company I have ever worked with. Someone! Please put a stop to this business!!

Review: I was told when I signed up our church that I would receive a $25 gift card/check for referring a friend program. [redacted] was my salesperson.

When I originally called in I asked for the $25 refer a friend offer and [redacted] my sales person, said they would do that for me even though I had used another company to sign up for my service. After 30 days I called again and spoke to [redacted] he said I had to wait til my account and church account was 30 days old, I said they were. He said he'd check on it. Another two weeks, I called again and was told he had to check on it. Anther week, I called [redacted] said he'd check on it. I called again and asked for a supervisor, that person said checks where issued and I would get mine by friday. Another two weeks, no check, I called. [redacted] said check is going on this Friday. Another two weeks go by and no check. I called again, Aug 22nd. [redacted] said there was a mix up and that check would go out the following Friday. It's Sept 10 and I still don't have the money. I called and spoke with [redacted] customer service and they said there was nothing in my records showing the conversation. I asked to be transferred to Blacksheep Enterprise and I spoke with [redacted] a supervisor and she said she would look int the matter and call me right back. Guess what! No one has called!Desired Settlement: I would like a written apology for being lied to by so many people and I would like my $25 for the refer a friend program that I have been promised I would get since June.

Initial Business Response

Check [redacted]

This check cleared our bank on 08/02/2013. I do not know why [redacted] has stated she has not been paid. See Attached.

Final Consumer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

I did not receive the second check that I was promised. This company must have many different sources for selling because if you Google excede you get many different places to call to obtain service. In my case, I called and got service at one number and was rewarded for referring a friend through that number. When getting service for another I called a different number by mistake and asked about the refer a fiend $25 and they said I could get the money even though I used a different number last time, they just wanted my account info which I gave them. But they didn't follow through and don't return my calls even after months of attempts.

Final Business Response

Since we are a dealer for exede when cx called in w/ a refer-a-friend promotion from another company we honored the refer-a-friend ($25.00) [redacted] stated above that she called another company (dealer) and placed her orginal order which told her about the 45.00 when she called us and placed the order we told her that we would honor 25.00 refer-a-friend. Since we fulfilled our obligation and the 25.00 refer-a-friend check cleared on 08/02/13 this customer needs to contact the other dealer if she was promised a refer-a-friend .

Consumer Response

Also, I did call the Revdex.com back concerning this case and no one returned my phone call. I can't help if Blacksheep employees aren't truthful and do what they say they will do. If there is another way to get my money, please let me know. I just want what I was told I would receive. Two friends should = two checks. I have only received one and for both cases my contact information is from Blacksheep.

I have double checked my records and I have two friends who purchased Excede Internet through Blacksheep and I have only received one check. I can't believe the dishonesty that is within this company.

Business Response

The only refer a friend that we have received from [redacted] is for her own account associated with her church- Jennings Community church. If she has another friend that she has referred then we will need the refer-a-friend filled out by her and her referred friend so we can process it. Unfortunately there is no other information that we have to fulfill her request for another refer a friend without the submission. I emailed [redacted] a refer a friend on 11/05/2013 for her to fill out and email me back

Consumer Response

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)

I didn't receive any email. The other friend referral was for [redacted] and the request was filled out online. He is an intern pastor at [redacted] Community Church.

Review: First of all I am so disappointed that we have had wildblue for years. BUT when you move you have to sign a new contract. I learned my lesson well. I could have just as easy went to another company but choose Wildblue cause I really like their service. But when we moved into town we had to go with another service. So the place that we was living at we aren't allowed back on the property and the company knew this. I even called and told them as soon as we went thru court they would get their product. They agreed to it. It has only been less than 3 months. But we have to go to court to get it.Then this past week they took money out of my bank account without my knowledge. Called them about it and they didn't seem to care. Told me the bank would have to dispute it even know they didn't have permission to take it out. To me that could that is called an hacker getting into my account without my knowledge. I have several hundred dollars worth of insufficient checks come thru. We have no money for gas or groceries. Please help me do something about this.Had to close our bank account and reopen another one.Desired Settlement: Would like the money of 317.86 put back into my account that they didn't ask to receive.

Response:

First, this customer is not ours. We have absolutely no record of any interaction with this person. We are NOT ViaSat, we are a ViaSat DEALER. There are several hundred ViaSat dealers throughout the country, probably the reason she focused on us is simply because she found our website.

That being said, the complaint should be directed to ViaSat directly.

Now, in regards to her complaint, I can address some of the issues being that we are a ViaSat dealer. When she ordered the service, in the contract that she electronically signed at the time of installation, as well as in the disclosures she was sent at the time she ordered, it clearly states that the equipment is LEASED, and that upon termination of the contract, the equipment MUST be returned, or the customer will be charged for it.

Also, the customer complained about the moving issue. There are a couple of reasons for the new contract. The first is that ViaSat's systems is not designed to be able to change physical address because of the rarity of people moving within the same geographical area. When a customer moves from one area to another, they required reassignment of the satellite modem anyway. The second is that when the customer gets a "FREE' installation, it is obviously NOT free, the customer doesn't pay for it, ViaSat pays the installer, ViaSat amortizes the cost of this installation over the length of the contract. ViaSat DOES provide one free move, but it does require the new contract. The only other option would be for the customer to pay the technician an hourly rate for time and materials to do the move, which would almost always be more than what the customer wants to pay.

I understand the issue with the customer's access to the equipment, etc. due to the court situation, unfortunately I have no ability to address that in any way. This complaint needs to be re-directed to ViaSat.

Thanks,

WILD BLUE / EXEDE / BLACK SHEEP ENTERPRISES are the same company. They have horrible customer service. I tried them as an alternative to Centurylink and it was a horrible mistake. Once they have your credit card they are relentless with their billing. Their manager lied to me regarding having a credit on my bill and I was billed anyway. As a high technology integrator I would advise against any satellite internet unless you have no choice. The customer service is horrible, their data package is unreliable, the people they contract with are marginal, and getting anything resolved with them is a miserable all day experience. Avoid this company at all costs. They will not do what they say they will do.

Review: We set up for satellite internet - it took 3 weeks to get install setup - they then called and asked if we would be willing to pay the installer an extra $30 for travel which we didn't. Installer came out got out of his truck said oh I don't have a line of site I can't install this and left. We then called MULTIPLE times and left messages on a voicemail or with an actual person who would tell us we had to speak to a manager that someone would call us back. We told them MULTIPLE times what the installer said and that we needed return labels to return the equipment. They said they wanted to send a second installer out to take a look and see if the install could actually happen, which they never sent a second person out. They did not send us return labels either. We were called last night AGAIN by someone we talked to last week and he asked what the issue was. We told him AGAIN what the installer said, he said again oh my manager has to talk to you. TODAY still no call instead they automatically took $364.00 out of my bank account. When called to ask why they said for unreturned equipment, we were NEVER told about this charge, we never signed any contracts, BESIDES we asked MULTIPLE times for return labels to send the equipment back which they still have not sent us as of 5:40pm on 3/10/15. They refuse to give us back the $364.00 until they have the equipment back. They fraudulently deducted money from my bank account, we did not receive anything in the mail regarding it, we never received a phone call regarding it or an email. The only phone calls we received were to be asked time after time why we weren't installed and that we would have to speak to a manager, who never returned our calls.Desired Settlement: Full refund of the $364.00 that they fraudulently took - at that point if they provide the labels that we have been asking for to us we will send the equipment back.

Business

Response:

Business states that the consumer had initially failed to return the equipment. The consumer has since then returned the equipment and has been refunded accordingly.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: business did not request that the equipmentioned be returned. ACTUALLY they requested to send a second installer to come out To our house. The last phone call they made to us they still wanted to send another installer out and then the very next day they deducted the money from our account. they FINALLY sent us return labels after multiple requests for them and we did send the equipment bac. We were told by a gentleman named "tim" that once the shipment was scanned by [redacted] they would issue the refund. Once [redacted] picked up the equipment they proceeded to ignore our phone calls and the times they actually did answer they would transfer us to a voice mail while we were mid sentence. Then after a week of waiting for our refund we called AGAIN only to be told they refunded someone else's card with our money. they did finally refund us our money that they fraudulently took in the first place. This company may think that because they EVENTUALLY refunded what they shouldn't have taken that I will let thEm make it out like this was my fault. But in reality this is a disgrace of a company and people need to know not to do business with them because they are poor business pepole who shouldn't even be open. .

Review: We recently moved to the city of [redacted], ** in august of 2013. Wild Blue/Exede whatever their actual name is the internet company we were recomended through DirecTV since none of our previous internet comapanys were able to service our area. After paying a large down payment for what they said was "equipment lease" we were finally installed a HUGE satellite which by the way was not able to fit on the roof so an additional mount had to be purchased through wild blue for an additional 80$ or so. Finally were had internet which I never new was a limited amount of data that could be used monthly and after 3 or so days of every month the initernet would stop working. After several calls and complaints about this terrible product I was told I was under an "agreenment" and could not cancel my services unless an additional 350$ was paid to cancel the contract. Finally after hours and hours of being on the phone with them we got approval to credit the "leasing" amount that was charged all at once to my credit card to be used towards the cancelation fee. I was so frustrated with these people I simply wanted to be done with them. When I called to cancel the service I was told everything would be taken care of and the credit that was on the account for again the "leasing equipment" and I was done with them. I was asked to return special equipment that was extremely hard to remove from my roof packaged and send it back in a timely manner I confirmed they received their equipment after several days, and was happy to know the nighmare was over. Only to find out several months later after receiving no additional bills or reminders I received a letter stating that my account was going to go into collections for past due amounts of 288$. And the nightmare started again, I inmediately called the company again and explained myself to 3 different agents that told me I would receive a letter and /or a call within 3 business days stating everything was cancelled. I never received any calls or letters.Desired Settlement: I simply want to be done with these people I do not feel I owe them any additional money for no services or equipment I never signed any contracts nor did I ever agree to such ridiculous fees for internet service.I take very good care of my credit and would be devistated if this wouold start affecting it I need help.
