Dear [redacted]On 6-28-16 [redacted] called and said he wanted a load of limestone for his driveway.  The only specifics of the gravel was not too big.  So we got 411 limestone gravel that is 3/4" to dust in size to accommodate his specifications.  Most gravel for driveways are larger...

in size-1" to dust.  Most limestone is brown or gray in color.  The driveway limestone delivered to [redacted] was brown in color and 3/4 inch to dust.  [redacted] thought the brown limestone was dirt.  Not the color he was used to.  I did explain to [redacted] that limestone is crushed rock to size .  This process turns some rock to lime dust.  The rock combined with the lime dust helps to hold the rocks in place creating a smooth surface of a driveway.Because it was not the same thing he had already, he thought it was wrong.  He never asked at any time for white rock.  If he would have asked for white limestone we would have not had the time to go all the way out to Indiana and get the only white limestone in the area.  To resolve the issue we did go back and remove the gravel that was dumped.  They did not pay anything for the original delivery, but we did charge a fee for removal to cover the equipment costs.  .
