Review: My brothers and I hired Blair Carr to represent us in the dissolution of my late father's estate. We met with her in August of last year (2012), and what sold us was her EMPHASIS on keeping us all up to date with any proceedings concerning our father's estate. At first there were communications via email and phone, but those soon ceased. My brother Joshua (who is the will's executor) also stopped receiving any kind of comminucation. Now, almost 10 months later, Blair Carr will NOT return any emails or voice mails. It is as if she has vanished. There has been NO communication in nearly five months. I cannot believe this level of neglect. The idea of being unable to garner a response is something in which I had never considered. How do you gain someone's business and then completely ignore your client for this length of time? She is obviously FIRED and we will be going with another lawyer: One who actually does as they say they will, one who displays competency, one who is PROFESSIONAL. Blair Carr is NOT lawyer!Desired Settlement: I am unsure of any necessary settlement option. My brothers and I have no idea what work, if any, has been done with our deceased father's estate. We requested an accounting of hours worked by Blair Carr nearly five months ago, again, receiving no response. It would appear that she has done nothing, therefore, she would receive nothing. Furthermore, if we were presented with a bill at this juncture, we would treat her as we have been treated-we would NOT respond. Thank you.
