We cleaned her home on 5/27/In the process of cleaning the ceiling fan of the blades fell offWhen I spoke with the customer I told her I can get parts to fix itShe said that she didn't think I would be able to find parts for it because it was over 3o years oldI told her I would find
someone to come out to look at it and would let her know whenIn the process of finding someone I spoke with the team that cleaned her homeThey stated that the fan was VERY old and that the blade broke off when they swiped the duster over itI was thinking about it over the weekend and came to the conclusion that I shouldn't have to pay full price to replace a plus year old fanI believe the fan was old and could have broke at any pointI decided to just refund her the money for the cleaning which was $I believe that this is the most fair way to handle this situation, after all the fan is plus years old

It looks like the $refund check was cashedI'm taking that as accepted

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that I have no option but to accept although I still don't think his company is right in breaking personal property and not taking responsibility for it. The check they sent was a refund for the cleaning. I had to pay out $150.00 for a new fan and installation. I am in the process of selling my house and had to get it replaced asap. I certainly won't be referring this company to anyone.

He said he could get someone to look at it in 3 to 4 weeks, I am in the process of selling my home and the wait was too long. I needed the cost of a new fan and the installation fee. I didn't think that was unreasonable.
