This letter is in response to complaint ID [redacted] S [redacted] of [redacted] Miss [redacted] brought in her mothers car for our service department to check a few issues on May 25, 2017She wanted us to check her brakes because there was a shimmy and she also wanted us to check for arattle noiseThe shimmy was due to warped rotors which the customer stated she didn’t want fixedTherattle was from a loose heat shieldThe shield was removedMiss [redacted] ’s bill was Swhich isattatched for your review.On Miss [redacted] contacted our business and wanted to know if her car would be safe to driveaccross the countryWe told her that we didn’t know and that she could bring the car in for a completeinspectionShe became furious by this response and stated that she had the car at our garage in Mayand that shouldn’t be neccessary.She kept asking over and over again as to whether or not the car would be safe to drive accross thecountryMiss [redacted] wouldn’t even allow you to give explainatioñShe was very aggressive and hostile.She would ask me what we checked on the car, then when I would try toexplain to her she wouldn’tlistenI told her the car was brought to our dealership to have the shimmy and rattle checked and bothof those things were addressedSecondly, It was almost two months ago that she was at the dealershipfor these thingsSo her asking someone if her car Is safe to drive across the country it wouldn’t beprudent for us to state whether it is or Isn’t without first Inspecting it at the present timeThirdly, thiscomplaint is about a customer making a complaint about someone else’s vehicleThe car in question isn’teven the complaintants vehicleThe car belongs to the estate of her mother and Miss [redacted] is not theExecutrix of the Estate.In closing, I understand that the customer just wants to find out in the most inexpensive way if hermothers car would be a good car to purchase from her estate, but it is Important that as a dealership thatwe do a comprehensive inspection of a vehicle before just stating that it’s safe.Regards,Andrew S*Sales Manager

Miss [redacted]’s bill was S41.87 which isattatched for your review.On 7.14.17 Miss [redacted] contacted our business and wanted to know if her car would be safe to driveaccross the country. We told her that we didn’t know and that she could bring the car in for a completeinspection. She became furious by this response and stated that she had the car at our garage in Mayand that shouldn’t be neccessary.She kept asking over and over again as to whether or not the car would be safe to drive accross thecountry.
