My experience with Alpine Credits was not a positive one! My husband and I have recently had a rough time financially for the last months, as a result we are very behind in several credit products Another result of this is that our credit ratings have taken a hit as well This being the case,even though we have equity in our principal residence a traditional Institution will not grant us a debt consolidation loan based on our credit Our situation has improved, but we are behind and it is hard to play catch up as well as current When I saw advertisements on TV for Alpine Credits, I felt this was the answer I filled in online application, a day later a lady called me, asked me what I wanted to use the funds for, and what I thought my credit looked like Based on my answers she said she was putting me through to their debt consolidation representatives I left a message, a short time later someone from [redacted] called me saying I had been referred to them based on my declined application with Alpine Credits I was very confused and said that my application had not been declined Once I contacted Alpine Credits again to get an explanation, I was told that looking at the numbers and how close to max equity on my property that they would not send my application through to their private lenders as they said that they knew what the answer would be But that they wanted to provide some solution for me, that is why they referred me to their sister company to do a debt relief program which will affect my bureau for seven years once debt is paid of! That is not what I am looking for, we are capable of paying our debts, just looking to consolidate into one payment and close accounts I feel that there marketing strategy is very misleading, where it appears that as long as you have equity in your home, no matter your situation you are approved! I fall into that category and yet here we are today! Shame on me for not believing, if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck.....it must be a duck
