I made several attempts to speak with dentist after being treated unfairly by staff member. I have been a long term patient and never had any overdue or miss paymemts to office. I was told that because I have had to cancel the last couple of appointments I would have to pay for the total amount of my services even though I have coverage with two sources. I called to speak with the dentist on several occasions never to get a return phone call. The billing staff person indicated that this was a requirement for me personally, stating that they would pay me back when my insurance pays them. I had also sent a payment to them in advance of having the treatment done in an effort to pay for the normal cost that the insurance does not pay. I explained to the billing staff person that I was facing some financial difficulties and that is why I was paying the required deductible in advance. Desired SettlementThey have agreed to send me the payment I made after several request. Business Response Over the span of 12 months, [redacted] has missed 5 appointments. After the 4th miss we collected a deposit to allow her to schedule the appointment again. She missed the next appointment as well and at that point we informed her that in order to make another appointment she would be required to pay in full for the crown before she would be allowed to make another appointment. This is common practice in dentistry for habitual missed appointments. She called and wanted to talk to me during a very busy week when my partner was out of town. She emailed me wanting to have the deposit mailed back to her and I emailed her back and asked for the address that she wanted it mailed to because it had another address below her name than what we had on record. She has since emailed me again stating that she does not want to pursue the Revdex.com complaint.
