We are agreeing to reimburse Kathleen Wilkes the $189 for towing her car.  Please have her contact me at [redacted] to arrange for payment.Thank you,[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. No one has ever requested photos of me. In fact, my phone call with Ms. [redacted] abruptly ended when the sound of a man on a speaker came on the line. I asked if she was there and got no response. The call was disconnected somehow. I called back and got voicemail. I left a message for her to return me call. She did not. The photos include the parking sticker on the car (which should not be in dispute anyway) and a picture of the location where the car was parked at the time of the tow. My grandson. [redacted], the renter, spoke with the apartment manager about the tow. He says the only dispute was whether the car was parked in an area for parking, not that it was blocking any egresses. In fact, he had been parking in the same spot for months without incident and without notice that he should not park there. As for the date in question, [redacted] has a witness who can confirm exactly where he was parked, which was not blocking anyone or anything. It was an unmarked curb next to a tree, without "no parking" signs or red or yellow zones. There is no parking anywhere along Watts Road, a very busy street in front of the apartment complex and lot. Parking is included with the rent, yet for months [redacted] found no available stalls when he returned from work late at night. As far as I know, he has filed no claims for reimbursement of that portion of his rent, which he may do if we have to go to small claims court to resolve this issue. According to Ms. [redacted] and others, building management has been aware of the parking problems in the lot for a long time. [redacted] may not be the only renter entitled to reimbursement for parking the facility has failed to provide on an ongoing basis.  In any case, according to the Tenant Resource in Madison, building management should have given [redacted] proper notice.[redacted] has the photos. I will ask him to send them to me, and I will forward. [redacted] also has a witness who can confirm the location of the car on the date in question.
Regards,
[redacted]Yesterday I received a notice that the business had replied. They claimed they had asked me for photos. They had not, and I have no email address from them to send the photos. I went back into the Revdex.com complaint file to see if I could somehow post them there, but I can’t see any way to do that.  So, I’m sending them to you. See below. If these don’t go through, please let me know.Thanks.[redacted]PHOTOSThis is where the car was parked. No signs, no red or yellow zones.Another shot of where the car was parked. It was not blocking any egresses. The complex has a number of areas clearly marked “no parking.”Parking permit for the vehicle

This company is terrible. We lived at Ryan Green Apartments and had little worms coming in the front door, all over our carpet and bugs in the bathroom and kitchen. I complained and you what they did, they kicked us out. They would renew our lease.
Awful, awful, awful, mean people like [redacted] (however you spell her name). She is a mean and cruel person.

I lived at Lincoln ridge apartments in Madison wI for two years, living in two seperate apartments in the same complex. We were asked to move out early from the second apartment (1 ear lease)so that their new tenants could move in early and they would prorate us however early we moved out. That sounded awesome to us, so we hurriedly moved out a week early and handed in the keys three days later due to them making us wait to do a walkthorugh. Talking to them again resulted in them claiming they NEVER said they would prorate us for however early we moved out, but from when their new tenabta moved in! They told ne what they were charging me for but would give me a list of deduxtiona by the end of that month. On the 3rd of the month after that month I called and rheu STILL didn't have my deduction sheet ready. WI law states that they have to return a security deposit WITHIN 21 days of vacancy. he told me he qas going to mail it out on the last day! Why even wait that long? It is unproffesional and rude! Not to mention my request for them to put in writing that they were prorating us and returning our security deposit by the 18th (the 21st day) was denied. Why refuse to put it in writing unless you are going to lie about prorating us anything!
Terrance was anything but helpful and was rude amd condescending and did not care that I needed my security deposit sooner then that. He also had promised to tell me how much he was charging me by the end of last month and now he is changing his story. NEVER RENT FROM THEM. They will try to take what they can get from you and the lie about replacing carpet before moving in. HORRIBLE COMPLEX. CHEAPLY BUILT AND THE EMPLOYEES WILL LIE.

Review: On August 12, 2015 I paid $189.90 to get a vehicle I own out of impound as a result of an improper towing from the lot of Lincoln Ridge Apartments in Madison, CA, which is a property under Blake Capital Management.

The vehicle, a 2013 Toyota Sienna, was in use at the time by my grandson, [redacted], who lives at Lincoln Ridge. He had a sticker to park on the property. On the night of the tow, the vehicle was not parked in any area designated no parking. In fact, he had been parking in the same spot without incident or notice for months.

In the early morning hours of August 12, apartment management reportedly ordered some 12-18 vehicles towed from the lot. Many were not authorized to park there. In a phone conversation with me, Blake representative [redacted] acknowledged that there has long been an ongoing problem with such vehicles taking away spaces from authorized vehicles.

Stark also said that the building manager told her that my vehicle was blocking an entrance to a building. We have photos and witnesses who can confirm that is not true.

The "sweep" of unauthorized vehicles is certainly understandable, but towing my vehicle was not.Desired Settlement: Refund of $189.90.

Response:

[redacted] did talk to [redacted] about her car being tower and asked [redacted] to provide the pictures to her. To this day [redacted] has not provided the pictures to Karen Starck so we can try to resolve the issue. In addition, our property manager is the one who saw the vehicle blocking an entrance, thus we had it towed. We have been trying to work with [redacted] regarding this issue, but she has not provided the pictures we have asked to see. Thank you,[redacted]
