Blakeman Vacuum and Sewing

I took my Riccar vacuum in to be serviced back in October after finding this stores information on the Riccar website. I paid my $75 deposit for the new handle and hose and likely to unclog something stuck where I couldn't get to it.
Weeks passed and my husband and I tried calling the store a few times to check on the progress. Always, the store was closed or no answer. Our days start at 7am and end around 6 or 7pm, so trying to connect with their short business hours isn't easy.
On December 24 I receive an email letting me know they had my vacuum ready and had been ready for some time. This email stated they had sent an email back in November. I called the store right away upon receiving this email and was told they had tried several times to call, but my number was disconnected. As my numbemy business line, and has never been disconnected, I knew there was something else going on. Turned out, they had my number wrong. I also searched my email, including spam, and found nothing from them.
My husband went to pick up my vacuum and the sales person brought out the wrong vacuum, insisting it was mine. He then told her that our vacuum is blue. She went back and brought out the correct one.
When my husband brought it back to me, I couldn't wait to try it out, but the goal wasn't fitting correctly, it just flopped all over. Then, it fell off! The handle is incorrect and wont stay on the vacuum. You have to hold the hose attachment while you push the vacuum!
Clearly upset that my thousand dollar vacuum was returned to me like this, I looked for help. I sent an email to the person who emailed me on the 24th. I went to the company website and sent an email. I went to their Facebook page and found communications between a reviewer and someone who said he was the owner. I sent a message to Christopher b*** and a friend request to ensure he saw my message. I was impressed when he answered my initial message, and told him my issue. From that, I received NO response and he blocked me!
I double checked that indeed, this was the person associated with Blakeman. Then I put in an email to Riccar themselves. I am not going back to Blakeman after this unacceptable treatment and service. I paid $138+ for this "repar". I will see what the Riccar company has to say about this. I will try to post the video of the vacuum so you can see what they sent back, you have to see it to believe it!

In 30+ years of owning a Bernina, this is by far the worst place. The manager and salesman told me I could just keep using my broken machine. It had just been serviced and they didn’t check for a simple to fix update. I did and got it working. I just paid over twice as much for a service contract. I have had it 10 months and haven’t used it. I can’t get the owner to call me back. Stay away from them!!!
