Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I didn't have time to wait to get new linens to decorateI delt with it and hid the stains as best as I couldThe linens should have been looked at before giving it to anybodyWhen we went for a tasting we told her that we wanted cupcakes since my husband doesn't like cake, and he prefers cupcakesSo we decided on different flavors of cupcakes and a cake topper for our year anniversaryI told her what I wanted on topIm sorry if she didn't write anything down that we wantedWhen we did our tasting for our cupcakes she did ask if we had a standWe told her no and she offered to send her stand for us to useWhen we decided to change our meal, she said that we could not get a refund back but we could add a saladShe didnt write it down because she didn't have our paper with herSo we trusted that she would write it downShe said that the salads would be on the tables before anybody went inside from the ceremonyMy guest informed the catering staff there there were cracks in the cups and the tea was leaking outI never said the cake and cupcakes were damagedWe didn't and neither did our venue coordinator know there were boxes for the top cake and cupcakesIt was agreed that the catering staff would clean up and also do the cupcake servingI spoke with venue coordinator and she said nobody went up to her and said they were leavingShe said that she would never tell the catering staff it is okay to leaveShe was surprised they leftShe also said that this is not the first time this has happened to her customers that use Blanca's cafe Regards, [redacted]

First, I would like to sincerely apologize for the dissatisfaction with our serviceThe clients picked up the linens from the store and decorated the tables themselvesI apologize that they were stained but I wish they would have called me so that I could quickly go and replace those linensAs
far as the cakes and cupcakes, I had called the client to completely review the order and ask if she had sent the picture of the wedding cake (that she originally ordered), but she told me she had changed it to cupcakes instead of a cakeI asked her if half white and half chocolate flavored cupcakes would be fine for the cupcake flavors and she said yesI reviewed the order many times and no where in the order does it say that the cupcakes were supposed to have tuxedos and wedding fondant accents on them and she also didn't mention it during the call, which is why there were noneI would highlight that type of request made on any cake order if there were anyI will attach the orderShe had told me that they were to be decorated half navy icing and half white icing and I told her that we would add pearls to make them prettierI had also asked her if she had a cupcake stand and she told me she did not, so I told her that I would provide one for herThe order also didn't have any information about a salad being served for the cateringMy staff that went to the catering, said that yes, a few cups had holes in them but that they quickly replaced them when they noticed and that they had two containers of tea and that they didn't run out of teaThey also said that the cupcakes and the small cake to go with it were not damaged, and they also took a picture of them which I will also attachWhen we deliver a cake, we always leave boxes for extra cake to be taken home and the manager that I sent to the catering said that he left boxes for the cupcakes and the cake under the table where the cakes wereMy staff said that after they had finished serving, they had told the wedding coordinator that everything was finished and cleaned up and that the coordinator said it was okay for them to leave the eventThe client did come to the store a few days after to discuss her complaints and I gave her $back because prior the wedding date, they had chosen a different menu item that would have been $a plate but later changed it to an item that was $a plateI also have the order where it says when the client changed the menu that I will attachIf you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to call or email me.*** *** ***
