I am rejecting this response because: I didn't have time to wait to get new linens to decorate. I delt with it and hid the stains as best as I could. The linens should have been looked at before giving it to anybody. When we went for a tasting we told her that we wanted cupcakes since my husband doesn't like cake, and he prefers cupcakes. So we decided on 2 different flavors of cupcakes and a cake topper for our 1 year anniversary. I told her what I wanted on top. Im sorry if she didn't write anything down that we wanted. When we did our tasting for our cupcakes she did ask if we had a stand. We told her no and she offered to send her stand for us to use. When we decided to change our meal, she said that we could not get a refund back but we could add a salad. She didnt write it down because she didn't have our paper with her. So we trusted that she would write it down. She said that the salads would be on the tables before anybody went inside from the ceremony. My guest informed the catering staff there there were cracks in the cups and the tea was leaking out. I never said the cake and cupcakes were damaged. We didn't and neither did our venue coordinator know there were boxes for the top cake and cupcakes. It was agreed that the catering staff would clean up and also do the cupcake serving. I spoke with venue coordinator and she said nobody went up to her and said they were leaving. She said that she would never tell the catering staff it is okay to leave. She was surprised they left. She also said that this is not the first time this has happened to her customers that use Blanca's cafe.

First, I would like to sincerely apologize for the dissatisfaction with our service. The clients picked up the linens from the store and decorated the tables themselves. I apologize that they were stained but I wish they would have called me so that I could quickly go and replace those linens. As...

far as the cakes and cupcakes, I had called the client to completely review the order and ask if she had sent the picture of the wedding cake (that she originally ordered), but she told me she had changed it to cupcakes instead of a cake. I asked her if half white and half chocolate flavored cupcakes would be fine for the cupcake flavors and she said yes. I reviewed the order many times and no where in the order does it say that the cupcakes were supposed to have tuxedos and wedding fondant accents on them and she also didn't mention it during the call, which is why there were none. I would highlight that type of request made on any cake order if there were any. I will attach the order. She had told me that they were to be decorated half navy icing and half white icing and I told her that we would add pearls to make them prettier. I had also asked her if she had a cupcake stand and she told me she did not, so I told her that I would provide one for her. The order also didn't have any information about a salad being served for the catering. My staff that went to the catering, said that yes, a few cups had holes in them but that they quickly replaced them when they noticed and that they had two containers of tea and that they didn't run out of tea. They also said that the cupcakes and the small cake to go with it were not damaged, and they also took a picture of them which I will also attach. When we deliver a cake, we always leave boxes for extra cake to be taken home and the manager that I sent to the catering said that he left boxes for the cupcakes and the cake under the table where the cakes were. My staff said that after they had finished serving, they had told the wedding coordinator that everything was finished and cleaned up and that the coordinator said it was okay for them to leave the event. The client did come to the store a few days after to discuss her complaints and I gave her $100 back because prior the wedding date, they had chosen a different menu item that would have been $11 a plate but later changed it to an item that was $10 a plate.
