Review: I took my car to Blankenship Auto Care for damages done to my passenger front. Below is a list of the events that occurred during my time with them.Wednesday, June 19th:Got estimate, $1500.00 not a penny more, not a penny less, 3-4 days, Monday at the latest.Took $1000.00 deposit and asked them to call me when the parts came in I would drop the car off to begin repairs.Friday, June 21st (Day 1):I called to inquire about part delivery parts will be here this afternoon, go ahead and drop it off. Dropped car off.Returned later in the afternoon to retrieve something from vehicle and saw outside a used red hood, used black fender, and bumper cover covered in plastic.Monday, June 24th (Day 3, including Sunday):Called to inquire on progress. Working on it now, go to the paint shop tomorrow should be back Wednesday or Thursday.Tuesday, June 24th (Day 4):Blankenship called to inform me They sent the wrong hood, it wasnt lining up right. We sent it back to get the right one. Will be Thursday or Friday.Friday, June 27th (Day 7): I called to inquire about my car Should be done tomorrow, Monday at the latest. Me I need my car by Monday, I have a class, this was supposed to be a 3 or 4 day job. We got to wait on the paint guy, we are at his beckon call.Monday, July 1st (Day 11): Called to inquire about my vehicle Ive been calling all day I know it has to be done or close, let me call him now.Never heard anything back.Tuesday, July 2nd (Day 12):Blankenship called me at approx 2:10 pm to inform me my car was finished and my remaining balance was $550.00, after I informed them I had placed a $1000.00 deposit. I asked why it was $550.00 when I was told it would be no more or no less then my estimate. I was then told he would meet me in the middle and charge me $520.00.When I arrived at Blankenship I asked about the overage of $50.00 and was told he would eat the taxes. I drove the car off the lot without looking at the craftsmanship. On the ride home I realized the turn signal and headlight were not functioning properly. When I got home, I realized how awful of a job was done. I took pictures and will return on Wednesday, July 3rd.Wednesday, July 3rd (Day 13):I returned to Blankenship with my complaints. When I approached the owner, he rudely brushed me off and asked his associate to see what the heck I was talking about. After speaking with said associate, he assured my I was right with my concerns and he would have it fixed no later then Monday.Monday, July 8th (Day 18):No call from Blankenship.Tuesday, July 9th (Day 19):I placed a call to Blankenship Auto and was told my car was ready, come pick it up whenever I wanted.Wednesday, July 10th (Day 20):I picked my car up. My hood is still not aligned right nor is my headlight, but everything is working. I will have a family member fix it since obviously it will not be done right by Blankenship.Desired Settlement: It would be fair and right for Blankenship to pay for my labor to be done right.
Review: Took car to a repair shop because of a problem.Mechanic informed me I needed a engine. He had the car for 2 months or longer. Go to pick it up and the car did not even start when he already collected $710.00 from me.This is the reason I took the car to him he informed me he replaced the engine. Sent me a txt msg after I left and said he moved the car and to come pick it up with nothing being complete. Also there was damage done on the inside of the carDesired Settlement: I only want the $ I gave him as a deposit because the car is still not running
