I dropped off 8 horse blankets to Blanket Express in Feb of 2019. I wanted repair and washing services. In March of 19 my son passed away, this unfortunate event devastated my family. It turned our world upside down. I did not even think about the blankets I turned into Blanket express. As a matter of fact I did not hear from them until Approx. Aug of 2019. When I did hear from them I apologized and told them I would be able to pick them up the next month. The owner was very understanding and said not to worry about it and pick them up when I wanted and to take my time. I got an phone message in Dec that my blankets were sold and there was nothing I could do. I called blanket express numerous time and my calls went to voice mail and I e-mailed with no return e-mails. Finally I got a call from the location where I dropped my blankets off that I had blankets there for pickup. Blanket express returned three of my eight blankets. Blanket express has no written policy and I would like to work this out with the company. however if this fails I am prepare to go to small claims court. I understand I own a piece of this responsibility however so does Blanket Express. I think this can be worked out reasonably however, Blanket Express will not return my calls or e-mails. Can yo help in this matter?
We contacted *** via phone and emails I have copies of sent emails and also all phone conversaions are recorded. she was contacted by voice 5/27/2019 7/16/2019 10/23/2019 and again 10/30/2019 she was also emailed 9/15/2019 and 10/23/2019
we gifted her out all the blanket we would never recovered payment for along with the order that was returned a total of in the amount of 360.56
We got a hold of them one time in April 2019 and they told us their situation. They said they would pick up order asap. Never heard back from them. We called, and emailed numerous times that if they did not contact us we would sell the blankets. We e mailed the 10/23/2019 and said we would be selling the order on 10/26/2019 at our yearly tack sale, 9/15/2019 and 10/26/2019 if we did not hear back from them. Still no response. They called us on Sat. 10./26/2019 which is a Saturday and our offices were closed and it was also the day of the sale. It is posted on our website and also on our voice mail we are open in the office Mon to Friday. They could have come to our shop at any time before or during the same to redeem their order. We contacted them Monday and told them some of their order was sold and I would put together what was left. We took it to the Coastal and they never paid us for any of their order, not even the ones returned. We do have all recorded conversations, and all emails sent and dates in our data base. We are very sorry for their loss but made every effort to contact and give them time to retrieve their order.
We have been in business for 22 years and have never had a complaint to Better Business, something we are very proud of and we will continue to provide the customer service our clients deserve and our business is proud of.
